The decibel meter is really easy and intuitive to use. Just turn it on and it is just ready to go.There are some useful extra functions such as setting alarms for hitting a particular maximum level. The screen is clear and easy to read.I don't have a way to test how accurate the measurements are, but they are certainly in the ballpark I would expect them to be at.

I ordered this more out of curiosity rather than anything else but I do use a large electric angle grinder from time to time so am interested to see how that measures (havent got round to that yet though).I like the layout of the meter, the display is large and high contrast so is very easy to read. it shows the momentary decibel (dBA) as well as the temperature readout - I'm not sure whether temperature has any bearing on the sound pressure level.In use the meter could hardly be more simple - turn it on and point it in the gerneral direction of the noise you are measuring. The distance of the meter to the source of the sound is integral to the significance of reading but this meter only measures relative sound pressure levels.Its stated in the manual that the meter is calibrated in the factory - I compared the readings to ones measured on an app on my phone and both were almost the same so either both were within calibration or were both uncalibrated by the same amount.For adhoc measurements this is a good little meter, I live above a pub and they had a horrific Karaoke night recently which I measured at 83dBA which is apparently the same as someone shouting! I can tell you this, I'd rather that the 'singer' was shouting rather than murdering 'sweet child of mine' in the way they were!

A nice lightweight and compact decibel and temperature meter.The unit is very simple with the ability to monitor live or see a min or max decibel reading via the mode setting, so you can take note of those for a particular environment.The unit also has an alarm setting for which it will go off should a particular loudness setting be reached.There is also a temperature read out which you can change between centigrade and Fahrenheit.When compared to another unit we found that the readings were only off by a few db.

This is pretty much plug and play. Once switched on it give you a decibel and temperature reading as standard with everything else being controlled through a simple mode button that cycles through the other functions (most of which probably won't be of much use to most).The min/max recording feature will be handy for Health and Safety managers that need to get a sampling of an environment over the day. It's difficult to get a decent reading usually because few work environments will keep the same levels all day, and few people have time to sit there and watch it all day.The alarm is good for similar reasons. You can just set it up and leave it where you can see it so that if it trips you can check out the source.Very simple and reliable, and highly recommended.

Living near a busy road, I'd always wondered just how noisy it was. This decibel meter gave me the answer. It's simple to use, with a clear display showing the noise level. The audible and visual alarms are a handy feature, alerting me when the noise gets too loud. It's not the most sophisticated device, but it does the job and has made me more aware of the noise levels in my environment.

this is an excellent compact little decibel meter ideal for the home hobbyist to track noise levels in and around the home.often i'll find myself hoping that a task i'm doing is not being antisocially loud to my lovely neighbours as i have a range of hobbies which involve making some level of noise and it's not always apparent to yourself just how loud you're being.with this handy gadget i can now sanity check things that I perhap am worrying too much about and reassure myself that it's fine and if not wind my neck in a little so i'm not that person who everyone in the street talks about behind their back.it comes with batteries included and the interface and display are both clear and intuitive to understand and operate.i have nothing against which to compare the readings so i can't comment on it's accuracy but for my uses it's more than good enough as a guideline.very happy with it.

Great little decibel meter, I ordered it specifically to test whistles and as soon as it arrived I immediately put the batteries in it and went to work. It works great, is very accurate and consistent. Seems to be very well made out of rugged material and is very reasonably priced.

This is a pretty basic decibel meter. It has min, max, and hold settings available and the refresh on the readout seems to be about once a second. The screen is large and easy to seeThe manual has instructions on how to calibrate the meter but I can find no calibration hole on it as the manual specifies so I'm guessing that means this meter can't be recalibrated.As a musician, I find it handy to have a decibel meter handy.

Pudiendo llevar un control sencillo de los días o momentos en los que realizamos las mediciones sin necesidad de anotarlas.. La pantalla de este es bastante clara, incluso en situaciones de excesiva luz externa, además de disponer de todos los datos en pantalla simultáneamente. Con posibilidad de programar rangos de aviso y alertas, y que tengamos un aviso sonoro y mediante la pantalla en el momento de alcanzar esas mediciones..
