Very good bearing for spinner
Note: Just looking at it after writing the review, that there are multiple sellers. I bought mine from TGM Skateboards (with plastic separator). There are cheaper options (by almost half), but sellers look like they are in china, since they show a 3 or 4 week minimum shipping time. So those sellers might be selling something different ones. Might buy from one of those sellers to see what I get.Using it for spinners, so I'm not sure about (and don't have experience with) skateboard use. But when I got it, removed the covers and zapped with wd40 and brake cleaner. Very smooth/quiet bearing. Also the ball separator is plastic, if thats important to someone. On a spinner that weighs 40g, without the bearing, it spins for about 50 seconds. Also hit it with little rubbing alcohol just in case I missed some grease/oil (since when I turn them they are so quiet), and it went to about 80 seconds. I'm guessing it will go even longer after an hour or two of use.

For the price, can't beat 'em.
ABEC 5,7,9 is a rating system for bearings. Keep in mind that in many countries manufacturers can stamp just about anything on they want on a product and not face false advertising problems that they would in the states. I doubt these are a true ABEC 9 set of bearings but they work. That being said, I've compared these to many of the more popular and expensive brands and I'd be willing to bet these come from the same factory as a few of the popular brands. There are a few brands that don't use the ABEC rating system so maybe they're different? At my time of purchase I paid $1.99. Even if these wear out at a rate of one pair per month it's way cheaper than dropping $40+ on bearings that still only last 6 months to maybe a year. Buy a few sets and keep them handy.

Not super slick
These have a bit of drag on them - which makes them perfect for applications where you want something to turn but not spin forever, like my filament roll holder on my 3D printer. If you want to use these for a fidget spinner etc. you're going to have to clean out all the grease and use something better.

Not bad, but not ABEC 9
These bearings aren't bad. I bought a pack of them about 6 months ago to make spinners with. Finally got around to it today. I popped off the caps with a utility knife and soaked them twice in 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and they still didn't spin for very long. I made some simple spinners with nuts from the hardware store and super glue, and then sprayed them with WD40, and now I can get about a 15-20 second spin on them. So still not impressive, but not bad. Keep in mind that they are listed as ABEC 9 bearings, but they are actually ABEC 7 according to the caps on the bearings. Also, you can feel them rattle a bit, so the spin isn't perfectly smooth, and they do make a bit of noise.

These are OK. Bones Reds are nicer even though they aren't "abec 9". With these cheaper bearings I would ignore that rating. They are packed in a thick grease so you will have to remove that for spinner performance. For a skateboard you would want to remove the grease and put some speed cream or something similar on it.I recommend denatured alcohol to remove grease (in paint section of store). You will need to shake them in a plastic bottle or something.

Good bearings but I don't believe they're ABEC-9
For the price, these are pretty good bearings. I don't believe they are smooth enough to be rated ABEC-9 though. For my purposes, they should work really well.

Good value
I don't know where these are made, but I'm guessing it's wasn't Germany (they invented the ball bearing you numbskull). While clearly not a high performance bearing, these are still a good value if your kid is a lazy unappreciative jerk who constantly leaves his skateboard laying out in the rain.
