Easy setup. Doesn’t require a hub.
This is the best one on the market. I’ve done enough research to know as I already had to return another where you have to buy a separate hub for your house. This did not. This did exactly what I wanted it to do by having a very simple set up with an extender wire to detect leak in my sump pump. It easily connected to my smart phone and my home network, and I had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Excellent product if I could give it six stars, I would.

Excellent product!!!
Great product. Easy to set up and use. Excellent price for the protection you get. I use in my basement for the sump pump and hot water heater. Great piece of mind especially when not home. Alarm is very loud and the phone notifications are a big selling point. Highly recommend.

Great functionality!
Each of the three water detectors can actually monitor water in two places as there are sensors on both the main unit and at the end of the sensor cord. So you could put the main unit in a cabinet and the sensor on the floor below. The app isn’t the easiest to program, but not too bad. And once you have it set up you can have it warn multiple people through email or the app about alarms. We are using on our boat to monitor bilges and under the galley sink, as well as to let us know when the water maker has filled our tank.

My choice over more expensive others systems
This is perfect to detect AC water leaks in my vacation home and I can't believe how effective and easy it is to set up Great deal for the money compared to other systems

Alarm is both local and sent to my phone immediately
Some complain that they had problems using the app but I had no problem. Installed the app with no issues. tested it and seems to work fine. Immediately send message to my phone. There are other items that can be added to this app.

No more flooding
I had issues with my basement flood after moving into my new home. The septic tank broke and we would have to go turn it on manually to drain every hour our of fear it would destroy our flooring. Due to the high flooding in our area we couldn't get anyone to come out for 2 weeks. Everyone was booked. We bought on of these and we were finally able to stop taking shifts sleeping. It works! Easy to set up for notifications to you phone and email. It's now one of our go to house warming gifts.

Great Water Leaking Alam for Remote Locations
Test OK. Just need to install the phone APP SwitchBot with this device so you can monitor the water leak incidents remotely. The device needs a reliable WIFI 2.4GHz internet access (like IOT) to work independently without the need of a hub. For the remote location detection, the buzz siren can be turned off and the warning notification can be shown on the cell phone as well as via email.

Reliable Leak Detection, but Difficult Battery Access
I recently placed the SwitchBot Water Leak Detector under my kitchen sink due to some recent leaks, and it works great! I opted for the version with the cable, which provides four points of water detection -- on both the main body (top and bottom) and the sensor cable (top and bottom). This gives me extra peace of mind with more coverage. The sensor is incredibly sensitive to moisture, so even just slightly damp fingers will trigger the alarm. The alarm itself is loud enough to be clearly heard when needed. The only downside is the battery compartment. Opening it was surprisingly difficult, and I ended up bending and breaking the small pick that came with the device. I had to use a blunt-tip pair of scissors to pry it open. I’m not looking forward to replacing the battery when the time comes, as it was quite frustrating.
