Can i use this on un used fireplace and it wont rub off when dry? I.e. it doesnt need heat sealing

If its rubbed in well then it shouldn't rub off on clothes or materials. Having said that, I lit my burner shortly after applying so I can't guarantee that statement!

Does it work on black granite sinks

Probably not if the sinks are used as theblack fibish might dissplve in hot soapy water.. It might make a mess ! Marco

Can I use this outside or will it wash off in the rain?

It’s wax, like old fashioned shoe polish so I’m guessing not. I haven’t tried it outside though.

I have a slate hearth......can I use this product on that too or should I just use it for the metalwork on the stove itself?

I also have a slate hearth and I was told just to wipe over with an oiled (WD40 or similar) cloth occasionally. I would not think this softish black polish would leave a nice polished finish. Hope this helps.
