This is an incredible flashlight and I highly recommend it. I haven't taken it underwater yet, but using it around the farm has been great. On it's narrow beam at around 100 yards, it lights up about a 10-15 area very bright. It's been great scanning for coyotes at edge of property when closing in the chickens. It's such a narrow spot that within 20 feet the cat and dog have chased the beam. As it widens out there are NO hot spots - this will be perfect as a video light. It does look like it's front heavy with the big lens, but is very balanced and comfortable to hold. It comes with two usb-c rechargeable batteries, but only uses one, so you always have one to charge while using the light. After a week, using it every night - I am still on the first battery and indicator is still green, so not sure how long it lasts, but it's plenty. This has been on the highest power use as well. The light has several power choices you scroll through high, med, low, off by pressing the power button.

I recently had the opportunity to put the OrcaTorch zd710 mk2 through a week of dives in Cozumel, Mexico. The light was tested during the day and night at depths up to 125 Feet. Our average dives were 80-90 minutes and I felt the light performance to be excellent. The focus spot or flood was great in the day for finding lion fish. Wider was fun in the caves and cenotes. This was the first time I had a light with an adjustable beam, definitely spoils you, very bright on the high setting as well. I will continue to use this as my primary light and love that it comes with 2 batteries that charge via usbc.

I just tried out my new ZD710 MK2 dive light from OrcaTorch, and its fantastic. The quarry's where we dive are consistently poor viz and the 1500 lumens and zoom beam sure came in handy when exploring the wall and abandoned cars and equipment. I took advantage of the three levels of intensity to back off the brightness when just keeping an eye on my buddy. All adjustments are easy to use with gloves on. Great all around torch at a good price. I recommend it to my students as their 1st dive light and friends as a back-up to the D630.

This is an incredible torch. I absolutely love the way. The light goes to flood and it helps my pictures. I’m still learning how to use it properly, but I have done it several times and the battery life is amazing. The button functionality is very easy to use and the power of the light is great.

I’ve been using various OrcaTorch lights for the past 4 years and have had great luck out of all of them. This one I especially like as I can adjust the beam on from a focused spotlight to a wider beam depending on the need. The head is a big bulkier because of that, but the benefits for me outweigh the added size. This makes my 4th light and there are a couple more I’d like to get - solid product and the price is phenomenal.

This is an excellent entry level light for any diver. It works very well as a backup or primary light for wreck diving. I recently used it cave diving with a gopro and it was very nice to be able to have both a wide angle beam and a spot beam. Overall this is a quality light with nice burn time given its size
