Great for pots, and rain barrels but a little small for medium sized beds.
I have to give this 5 stars because it does exactly what it says it will do and nothing more and I can't fault it for not doing more than it says it will do.However consider this a warning if you are purchasing these. If you would like to add additional lines to the system it won't work terribly well. These little pumps really can't handle much more line than what they come with. So don't purchase these with the intent of buying more line and sprinklers seperatly to add to the system. The little guy just can't handle it.That being said this was easy to set up, and works great with my rain barrels, I think I am going to switch it from my garden beds to my herb pots though.

Enjoying so far
I have a lot of pots and over-railing containers. I have been testing out the unit and it does circulate the water. I bought 20-gallon garbage cans for use since I have hooked up about 15 outdoor pots on a unit that are 8-12 inch sized. With the railing containers I have 3 connectors since these are long and narrow. Every day it runs for 20 minutes. I figured the volume of water that it delivers to each container is about 2 ounces/minute so I need to run it long enough to deliver about 2 cups of water which I estimated for my purposes will equate to an inch of water per week. So far it has worked. I started with 5-gallon buckets but soon decided that I need to run the pump longer which meant I needed more water. I am trying to see how many days 20 gallons might go. So far I am liking what I see but it has been a few days. The directions says that the system delivers 400 ml/min. I am hopeful the experimenting will work as I figure I can find someone to fill the buckets easier than I can find someone to actually water all the pots. I measured the soil wetness where the water trickles about 3-4 hours after it ran and it is in the moist to wet zone so that is good. I plan on running system daily but may be able to cut back on the running time. As someone else mentioned you really want the pots to be about the same size or for the larger ones you may need to insert additional emitter, which is what I did in some of my pots.

Not very helpful.
My biggest annoyance is that I can not see anything when I push the buttons. Thought maybe there is a cover over that part, but that does not seem to be the case. Also it does not have an end cap, like any other drip system. So I guess at the end you need to put in 2 blue spikes. Waste of time and effort. I can hear that the pump is trying to work. So I figured I try again the next day and let the unit charge another day, which it should not have needed since we have good weather here. Also the water line is way smaller than 1/4" lines. More like a toy instead of something useful. At this time I do not even have an ideal how long I would let to have it run to get water to my little new plants. 3 minutes don't do anything. There is enough water in my barrel. So yes, very dissapointing. Tried 9 min today to see. I am going to stay with 1star.

LCD Display Solar Drip Irrigation System
This solar drip irrigation system was a life saver. The modes and watering intervals made it possible for me to make sure that enough water was delivered to our flower pots without flooding the roots. It is great value for the money - and since it is solar - there is no battery. It was easy to set up and functioned perfectly throughout the whole summer.
