I bought this as it was cheaper than the Bulldog and Mancave alternatives, and still vegan (I'm not vegan, but I don't believe in harming animals for cosmetics).I get moisturiser with SPF, as protection from UV is the only anti skin method that has strong evidence of long term efficacy on human skin. (Many other anti aging ingredients are either skin tighteners, which quickly wear off, or ingredients that can't actually penetrate through the epidermis to give the benefit they claim, and which can only be observed in skin cells in a Petri dish.)Consistency wise it is quite thick, but it absorbs just fine as long as I don't use to much, and I don't find it greasy on my skin. The tube opening is quite small, so it is harder to squeeze from the tube than it needs to be. Scent wise, it is more classic/barber shop than the more opulent smell of Bulldog and Mancave products, but not unpleasant.Knowing that some people have had a skin reaction to this product, I did a patch test before applying it all over my face (a wise thing to do with any new face cream), but my skin didn't reach to it at all.It was on offer for a fiver when I bought it, and at this price I would but it again, but at full price it completes with Bulldogs SPF moisturiser, which I prefer.

I have problem with face creams as the are very stick and getting my face burn in sun but this one is great , not sticky at all , great smell and protection from sun . Just perfect combination for me

This made my skin smoothy

First impressions are of rather a heavy cream with an overwhelming chemical scent. I suppose it's the UV filter that means it doesn't really absorb and remains on the surface of the skin. After the initial application and several hours later, my face feels greasy, and my eyes started stinging. I have had to wash it off! Returns are not possible due to hygiene implications, so it goes in the bin!

At the time of this review the moisturiser was retailing at £5.00 (down from £7.50) which is good value for 100ml.The tube is easy to use and dispenses a precise amount of cream, which has a pleasant consistency. I would have liked to have seen a security seal on the cap.Initially, I thought the product was a little greasy and it didn’t absorb into the skin as quickly as I would have liked. However, after a few uses my opinion changed and I simply used less of it. Absorbency will also be relative to skin type and moisture content, so won’t necessarily be the same for everyone.The scent is very pleasant; it has a woody, citrus fragrance which is quite masculine.The SPF 20 rating is a good feature, but the messages imply that it isn’t a replacement for sunscreen, which is fair enough. It does state clearly that eye contact with the product should be avoided and care should be taken, as with any similar type of product.I like the fact that this moisturiser is made in the UK and based on my experience so far I’d happily buy this again.
