Lens covers suck!!! You would think with buying a case a screen protector and lens covers that the lens covers would be better than the ones that came with the Insta 360 X4. And that’s definitely not the case. I’d say within two hours of putting the supposed to be upgraded lens cases on. I had to take them back off and clean the insides because they were all full of dust particles and such. When I just went four days with the original lens covers that came with it and not one dust particle at all got inside of the lens cover. The aluminum case that goes around the Insta 360 x4 you would think it would protect the front where the screen is and in the back, but it doesn’t. it just protects the sides. I’d almost have to say the one that came Originally with It protects the back a lot better. Overall, for having to pay $50 for it, the screen cover is probably the only feature that is any good.

I really like the rugged cage in this kit. It adds a lot of protection to the X4 and also some extra mounting points. The cage has the GoPro mount and 1/4 20 thread at the bottom for flexibility in mounting options. It has cold shoes that allow you to mount extra accessories like mics and pocket lights. It also fits like a glove and the thumb screw allows you to tighten it up to your liking.The lens protectors are not any that i would use for video, because it created extra warp and distortion that i did not like. The screen protectors are actually nice and useful.
