We ordered this catio to help our cat spend time outside at our new house without escaping the yard as she has become known to do. The catio arrived in many pieces and required several hours to assemble. Fortunately, the instructions were clear complete with images and all parts and pieces were present. It was worth taking the time to build it because it looks great, is made of real wood, and our cat really loves it. There are several perches she can climb or jump to and there is a large area on the bottom where one of us can actually fit inside and sit with her in the grass. The roof is very neat as well it has clear plastic panels like skylights and it comes with a cover that will provide added protection from the elements during rainy weather. Overall, this is a great product that can keep animals like cats safe and secure while still enjoying your outdoor space! Highly recommend!

Our inside cats can now be outside. It took approximately 8 hrs to put together. We made a floor and set it on bricks so the bottom isn’t exposed to the grass and dirt. The wood is pretty flimsy but it seems sturdy enough for our cats to climb around safely in it. It’s kinda small but would be great for 2 cats, maybe 3. We have 4 cats so we purchased two houses and have them connected so there’s plenty of space for them. It comes with a plastic tarp to put over the top so water doesn’t fall through the roof. Overall, it’s a good product. Would give 5 stars if the wood was more sturdy

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!This looks awesome in the advertised photos. HOWEVER, I can’t begin to fully explain how cheaply made this item is. We are having to spend so much money to “ fix” the issues, it literally would have been better to have built our own.The wood is very fragile & easily splits & breaks. There’s gaps all over from the roof to the door, and they can’t be seen until fully assembled .It’s thin wood & staples. We are replacing all the platforms and hide boxes, but first we have to rework the frame to even accommodate better & sturdier wood etc.. to make the platforms SAFE for our cats.When I purchased this, there wasn’t enough reviews to be properly informed. There is now. The door is not sturdy at all. It needs reinforcing. I intend to use this outside, so I need to make sure my pets can’t get hurt or escape as well as no other animal can get it. It will take time & money to accomplish this, way beyond what this catio offers once assembled.If it’s for a garage or an already enclosed area, you will still need to take care of the platforms & hides to ensure your pets don’t get injured.BUYER BEWARE!

I bought this for my squirrel and it’s perfect! Easily assembled with two people. Would probably be difficult for one person to assemble. It smells like cedar and the wood is very lightweight. I was afraid it was going to be flimsy but once assembled, it was pretty sturdy. I can’t see it holding out with a heavy cat, but my squirrel absolutely loves it! Customer service was great. They contacted me to let me know that it would be coming in two packages. When I had questions, they answered me within a day. All in all, I am happy with the results!

I liked that everything was neatly labeled including all the hardware. I wish the item has better quality. Some of the wooden pieces were chipped or cracked. We did have to mend a couple of pieces. We were also under the impression that there was a bottom to it. Overall the catio is okay and will meet our current needs.

The media could not be loaded. We love it, and so do our cats. It did take an entire day to assemble and set up but the result was worth it. We have a couple of special need cats who need to be contained close to the house and this provides the solution. We ordered a 9 dollar cat door and created a insulated window sash with plywood and painted it. We will be installing solar lights and hammocks and eventually build a better foundation under it.

This was easy to assemble but definitely need 2 people to assemble it. Much bigger than i expected. The roof is very good quality.First off, fiberglass particles ALL over the wood straight out of the packaging. Also the wood it’s made with is SO fragile, not sturdy at all. 2 shelves have broken because they are so thin and the wood is so lightweight. I’ve had to make and replace some of them at home. The little “hiding spot” boxes are so fragile, both have broken in. the wood is so thin. My cat is not big, he’s a “regular” sized cat.However, i love the little sliding door on the bottom. With some intense cleaning, building of new shelves, and a cat door attached to a window of our home, our cats are obsessed!

I am very pleased with this product. It arrived in two boxes, just like it said it would. It was easy to assemble and my Kitty is so very happy!! The only thing that I had an issue was in the back. There's a small opening for a cat door but it is not large enough, so we had to cut some of the wood and metal screening to make it fit. But other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this.
