I loom knit little preemie caps for NICUs. I adore the smaller skeins of yarn because generally they're one hat per skein, sometimes a little more and sometimes a little less. The bag is durable, it is easy to zip and unzip. The yarn is packed in two layers, each in an individual cellophane bag. Between the vinyl case and the cello bag the yarn will stay very clean and organized. This set came in a very nice and sturdy gift box (brown with the company logo on it) that is easy to open and close. I like the little vinyl suitcase so much, though that I took all the other components - which by the way each come in their own convenient vinyl organizing bag - put them in the yarn suitcase and discarded the gift box. It looks adorable in my knitting seat. The yarn colors I wouldn't make baby caps out of will be combined into an adult hat of a gradient ombre style. So. Much. Fun.The included accessories and tools are learner quality. The handles on the assortment of crochet hooks are designed for comfort and feel good in one's hand. This is a great little kit for someone getting started or who like me can use some additional yarncraft supplies along with an assortment of 42 different color skeins of yarn.My one disappointment is the yarn is more like a fine weight than a medium or light weight. Most folks are familiar with Red Heart yarn so I'll compare to that. Two strands together are still less than the typical worsted weight RH. The yarn texture feels more like a wool than a typical acrylic.This set is a fun novelty distraction from my usual knitting from large skeins. It is also a fun set for someone just getting started exploring yarn crafts.

This is a really nice crochet set at a really good price. The amount of yarn and the number of colors alone make it worth the price, it’s perfect if you are trying to build a good collection of yarn. The quality of the yarn is more than decent for. Beginners and the size is perfect for amigurumi or clothing items. This also includes a bunch of needed tools for beginners that are decent quality and a nice bag to keep everything sorted.
