As a businessman it's important to dress not for the job you have, but the job you want. I already have the high-pressure, jet-setting job doing international business that I want, but I also needed some cargo pants for 'messing around in'. Obviously, being a high-flying businessman I could have chosen any type of cargo pant to suit my needs, but these were the cheapest, so I brought them.At face value the FCO Mens Casual Cargo Pants Shorts Trousers Cotton Hiking Walking Outdoor Fishing- Brown Colour Only are indeed cargo pants that convert into shorts. They have lots of pockets that could be used to store pens, laser pointers, a Filofax, notepad, business phone, personal phone, highlighters and a whole heap of business cards, but if one of my team wore them to an important business meeting then they would be reprimanded severely. These are definitely NOT suitable attire for the business environment.However, for walking/hiking/gardening/DIY these would be great. They're not particularly flattering, but are fairly loose and the cotton makes them quite breathable. They also convert into shorts.As I businessman I would definitely recommend you enact a hostile takeover on a pair of FCO Mens Casual Cargo Pants Shorts Trousers Cotton Hiking Walking Outdoor Fishing- Brown Colour Only.Just don't wear them to one of my business meetings.

Large says 34-36 waist. Good job I lost some weight recently as I think they're a bit smaller than 36. So they fit me and I'm quite pleased with the quality and price. They are branded as Crane so I suspect they are Aldi overstock or similar (brown is generally an unpopular colour). Don't know how much Aldi sold them for but at just under £7 I feel they compare well with more expensive offerings such as Go Outdoors £18 zip off pants.

I needed something I could wear with boots and go to work in and then go straight off and do some yoga, they work perfectly, I can move, they have pockets for all my stuff and I don't look likea wierdo on the street

For the prices it's good value ,but normally I'll wear a 32-34 but on this occasion the trousers where on the small size

Sizing on this garment is much smaller. Although the label says 40 the size is too small

A tad bigger than what I ordered but it's nothing a belt won't solve. All in all they are fine👌
