Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09 Air Purifier and Fan

This is my third Dyson fan/purifier. Got it on Prime day. It works as described. 1. Setup is easy, and intuitive. Took about 10 min to unpack and assemble 2. Wi-Fi: super easy. Get the app, rest is easy. The purifier and app work as described. 3. The fan function/remote/ purifier work well. Absolutely love it. 4. Works well with Alexa voice control, love that part. The auto function on the app is easy to use. Cons: Cost. Very expensive. There are tons of purifier at half the cost or less. Overall a great buy!

Very accurate at measuring air quality in a home, it’s amazing! We remodeled our kitchen, bought a new stove. Our first two hours of using our stove there was an awful smell. Sure enough, the fan (which was set to auto mode) increased the fan speed to clean the air. Con: filters currently not available. Still wondering why I bought this expensive fan. Pro: can control the Dyson fan settings or assess air quality / temperature/ humidity in your home from app

This machine worked great but around the 3 month mark the air quality reading changed to a constant green flat line and the other readings do not register. In addition, the motor makes a loud whirling sound and I can't get the fan to turn off unless I power off the machine which negates the purpose of having a machine that reads the air quality. I tried all the troubleshooting I could find on the Dyson website, community pages, Reddit, etc. but nothing worked.. I then contacted Dyson directly and was given canned responses that were the same as I read on the Dyson website and on their troubleshooting community pages. No help whatsoever. So disappointed. Won't buy a Dyson product again when there are so many other options out there now. Not what I expected from Dyson or a $600 Dyson product.

This Dyson cool purifier was awesome for the first 5 months. At about 6 months of using primarily as a purifier only it started to emit this low, but very very annoying hum…… I just couldn’t deal with it unless it was on the cool setting I didn’t hear it. The cool setting is awesome and it’s a great fan that feels more like an ac unit keeping my bedroom very comfortable with the central ac on or off. For the price, this should be cleaning my hardwood floors like a roomba vac dreame vac or a bisell… I still use it a year later but I rarely leave it on the purifier mode alone becasue of the annoying low hum sound which is ok if im watching or listening to something, but in a quiet room it gets on my nerves. It looks sharp but this thing is a monster so be prepared to give up some space for it. Its large and wide so small bedrooms might want to pick up the smaller version.

Cheapest option I could find to clean formaldehyde from the air in my house, and it works. I work from home and was having constant “allergy” symptoms for almost a month straight, but only in my house, after buying an air quality tester it turns out we had high levels of “HCHO” or formaldehyde in the air. It wasn’t that much higher than outside and we live in a hot climate, so “airing out the house” wasn’t really an option. Bought this and immediately plugged it in, within a day my “allergy” symptoms were gone. A week later, and the air quality is down to safe living levels. A win for me and my family! It’s not that loud compared to most fans, so I’m just going to keep this running. Now I just need to figure out how to keep my toddler from playing with it… I wish the swivel had a child lock feature, but that’s the only downside.

Air is fresh and cool, love it looks sleek also, not taking up so much space

i love this so much, worth the splurge for allergies. Auto mode is awesome, it’s pretty quiet too unless it’s filtering something out super hard but nonetheless the background noise is unnoticeable. Basement smells good and the formaldehyde option is honestly just for peace of mind down there because of moisture. it’s super cooling and i’ll probably purchase a non-formaldehyde version upstairs in my house knowing how much i like this one now. Dyson is honestly so easy to set up and use, i don’t know why i waited so long to get one. The monitoring system works in real time in sync with auto so you have to do nothing but keep it plugged in and you’ll have clean air for good. stop being lazy and unhealthy and just buy it if you’re on the verge

This unit is expensive, but the accuracy and control are worth it to me. We bought a different Dyson model for a family member, loved it upon testing, so got this one. We had always feared that our apartment was not properly maintained, and this product set the record straight. this is very quite and makes a very nice fan on hot days as well. All the settings you could want for comfort.

Sin duda un producto Dyson es sinónimo de calidad y lo último en tecnología. A pesar de las malas reseñas sobre el productos ruidoso, tuve suerte y mi purificador es bastante silencioso. OJO NO ES UN VENTILADOR ES UN PURIFICADOR, así que no esperen una ráfaga de aire abundante.
