I was not expecting this to be something I would be too impressed with. I was wrong. I have gotten so many bugs that fly and wasn't aware of. Wow. There was a mud dobber, (the black bees that look shiny blue in certain light) that got stuck on it. I was surprised by the sticky pad because it held it. It is very simple to use and the value of it is very good. There's no smell it's not messy and the way it attracts flying insects with the blue or purple light. I've had the mosquito catchers with the fan that sucks the insect down and they either had a constant squeak or vibration that was very annoying. With this you don't have to worry about anything annoying. It only has a light and a sticky pad. Easy pezy. I did do something else to help attract the little pests. This sticks out away from the plug maybe 1 inch and the light reflects on the wall. I had some leftover sticky pads from my old fan style mosquito trap so I just pinned it to the wall where the light reflects on it. That way it'll catch twice the pests and believe me, it works so good. The nats are unbelievable outside and I believe that every time we go in or out 10 nats fly in. I'm not sure what feeds on them but whatever it is needs to come where we live and feast, but until that happens, it's good to know I can still get rid of them. I will definitely recommend.

This is so worth the money! We plugged it in before bed and when we woke up there was already 10 gnats on it. It’s easy to use, you just put the sticky pad onto the plug in and take off the protective back. It’s great quality and worth buying the extra sticky pads.

To be honest, I never tried one of these mosquitoe lights. The first night it caught around 4 mosquitoes and 1 ant. It surprised me that ants are attracted to this blue light. Then each night after that it decreased the number of bugs it caught. I recently changed the sticky pad after 2 weeks and works great for Florida mosquito season. Plus it looks like a night light down the hall. The only thing is I don't see mosquitoes interested in following the light during the day FYI. OVERALL it works!

I have a fly problem and aside from those stupid gum strips that you can get caught in your hair if you place in a weird place, never had luck with any of the other remedies.This thing is AMAZING! it plugs in, so you cant really accidentally run into it (theres a shield that protects you if you did bump into it).It works great with almost no work on your end. No smells, sounds or other things that other brands use.The only downside to the device is that it catches the flies so fast, you forget to change out the strip and it stops working (not a fault of the unit, thats user error! :D )
