Haushalt International Weatherproof Banana Cantilever Parasol Protective Cover, Anthracite 61049

Having bought one I returned to buy a second, so impressed was I by the quality of the material & the ease of fitting in comparison to other, more expensive covers, bought earlier in the year. Indeed so impressed I have just bought a third, this time for a large 3m rectangular, straight up parasol. Ok, so you need long arms to slide it over the top & the zip doesn't go all the way to the bottom, but for the price & the quality, I defy anybody to come up with something better. For the doubters currently, using ten parasols of varying sizes, I just wish I had bought ten of these covers!

This cover appears to be made out of good quality material and i'm confident it'll last, however I do have a couple of points to voice;1. The cover is slightly too small for our 3m cantilever parosol. I doesn't zip all the way down.2. In the product description it says the colour would be either black or charcoal however ours is a 'garden green' colour.To be honest I don't mind the colour, I actually think it's quite nice, however, if I knew the cover wouldn't fit properly I wouldn't have bought it. Since the cover was so cheap I probably won't return it however, i would recommend that anyone else considering buying one considers a larger version.

Doesn’t zip all the way down over the parasol that I have. Only goes three quarters the way down. Zip doesn’t go all the way to the top either which makes it awkward to get it over the top. To do that you need some steps to reach or use a slick like I do. The case itself appears to be waterproof and does the job although haven’t had any heavy rain since I purchased the item. Overall it will do but if you require precision maybe this is not for you.

The product is made of good quality fabric & is very good value for money, my only gripe with these covers is that as with a previous cover the zip is not robust enough

The product arrived on time it was a good material fitted perfectly can’t fault it

Arrived on time and I arranged for a friend to put it up, there were no instructions or nuts and washers. I sent email via Amazon of course to ask for the missing items and was told they would take a week to arrive, I suggested that perhaps as it was their oversight that there were things missing they could have been sent first class and I received a response all in German! The nuts and washers duly arrived week later but still no instructions. I suppose they assume that it was self explanatory but not for 70 year disabled female, my helper had vanished on holiday by this time. I have put it up and it does not stand alone,. it blows over and it is not the piece of kit I was expecting. I may have it put up wrong but with no instruction I have not a hope in hell of remedying it. Cannot believe I have wasted so much money on something I cannot now use. I am sorry this review was written for the parasol only and not the cover which is excellent. Sincere apologies

No tilt

This is after 5 months. Decent for waterproofing purposes but has discoloured. Not really an issue and doesn’t affect it. Zip handle came off again not really a big issue.
