Works, but status lamps poor.
Love the fastening belt - which has velcro fitted almost all around, makes fitting to my cannonade frame a doddle. Hold the battery pack nice and firm too - I've had other ones which needed to be altered to fit as the velcro did not cover enough of the strap. Battery holds charge long enough for my nighttime rides (about 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours max) The status bulbs: 3 of them: 3 = full 1 = dead. There is hardly any warning as to when the battery is discharged completely. The bulb can go from 3 (fully charged) down to 1 (no output the the lamp) in 10 minutes. Apart from that good value. I always have a smaller back-up light just in case. Need this for the October to March commutes in total darkness.

Much more robust than its precessor
this battery pack has robust casing to keep the strain off the electrical connections so if the cable is snagged the point that yields is the plug/socket between the cable on the battery and the cable on the light, rather than where the cables are soldered onto the battery, as in the previous pack. Pack also looks to be more waterproof and comes with a robust strap long enoough for almost all applications. Oh, and the extra tail light never goes amiss !
