NASB Large Print Personal Size Reference Bible, Teal Leathertouch

Love this version of the bible! Fonts are large and easy to read. My 11 year old niece loved mine so much, she wanted one for herself. And the blue is her favourite colour, so she loves it too❤️

A beautiful Bible that’s compact and packed with extra features that I find extremely helpful for tracing Israel’s places and people in real–time studying. Look and feel ― First off, love the silver lining of the pages. Compared to my NLT, it feels more like a cozy novella to hold than a formal semi–textbook [the feel of the NLT when considering size alone]. I love both and appreciate both translations and design. Format and design ― I love the teal, and contrary to the color in the photos, you’ll find the teal to be much warmer [closer to neon coastal oceanic green than the baby blue depicted]. the silver letters outside on the cover is refreshing and beautiful to look at. For this specific NASB, I appreciate the size of the cross references and how they’re organized. They don’t interrupt with the reading flow, i.e., they aren’t too big or ‘in your face’, and their pointers are formulated to be subtle and discrete within the text that are clear enough to let you know where to find them. The font size of 11.25 is accurate; they’re legible and easy on the eyes; suitable for long studying hours. Words of the Lord is in maroon red. Print and paper quality ― The faux leather cover is soft to the touch and comfortable to hold. Unlike with my NLT Bible from Tyndale, this leather–soft material isn’t as prone to fingerprint, which is a plus. Words are clear and easy to read. Pages are thin and most of them stick together when they first arrive so be gentle with those flips when you’re using the book for the first time. Some more tips: For those interested in getting bible tabs for this, be sure to flip those pages to ensure you aren’t sticking the tab for 2 pages at once because they’re super thin and some are sticking together. Overall, loving this Bible thus far from Holman.

Love the way it is, for a large reference bible it's compact and you can carry it anywhere. loved the fonts and its size. Easily readable. NASB is the best translation if you want greek, aramaic, hebrew meaning inbuilt in your Bible. The original texts retained as much as possible. There are colored maps, topical index, presentation page, Christ's wordings in red. The guilding is silver and it's really flexible when bended, Lay flat even on your hands. I highly recommend this beautiful bible. Must buy!!❤️✝️

Having learned on the KJV and having a pretty vast Bible collection—I buy 2-3 per year it seems—I was surprised I like this one; the translation and the size/color. I am reading through with the Dr. Horner bible reading program, which is 10 chapters a day scattered throughout the Bible in 10 different lists and so you need 10 different bookmarks – – which I laminated on colored paper. This Bible is a perfect size for that, and you do need a dedicated Bible just for the reading because there’s no back reading or cross referencing in this program; it’s reading for memorization so reading as quickly as possible with comprehension. This version is easily readable without being too simple like the NIV and without being wooden like the ESV. It does add a few words here and there, but they’re in italics so you can ignore them if you want to, which I do because they don’t clarify for me having learned on the KJV. But I think it’s very nice for beginners. I wish it were real leather because I understand with this reading program you are going to wear out your Bible, but it is my favorite color and the print size is good for me even though I still have to wear cheaters. All adults how they recommended.
