Ocean: A Photicular Book Hardcover – Picture Book, October 7, 2014

This is such a fun book! I purchased it to give to my 7 year old niece for Christmas and when she opened it up and began turning the pages she was so excited! She loved that she could make the animals move faster or slower by how she turned the pages. Just enough information provided on each animal presented to briefly satisfy then ultimately send a person on to more in-depth sources. My sister-in-law is a teacher and plans on using it for her class and suggesting it to other teachers as well.Where were books like this when I was a kid? It's truly a visual treat. I might have to visit my niece more so I can also visit the book!

This book was amazing. I got it for my nephew (age 4) for Christmas and all the kids (ages 1-8) were mesmerized by it. The graphics and movement of the fish was soo cool. I could see the kids looking at it over and over again- laughing at the fish and sharks. There is a lot of information on ocean animals in the book too- for any ocean lover (definitely aimed towards an older age range!)-- but even the youngest kids will enjoy the graphics and pictures! I am definitely thinking about purchasing the other books in the series now! I wish I had taken some pictures to post here of just how cool it was!!

It took a long time to receive the book but worldofbooksusa was responsive when I followed up because the book was overdue. If orders are late, don't wait but contact the seller, any seller, promptly. I would purchase from them again. Like the other photiclar books, Ocean is full of stunning images rippling with movement. Children and adults find the lenticular art amazing and enchanting. Older adults with dementia find it stimulating and enjoyable. These books hold up well and are definitely worth the cost.

I bought 3 different photography books for my grandson Safari, Dinosaurs, Ocean he loves them ALL!He’s enjoying while he’s learning and that what it’s all about Please make more!!!You can make volumes of each one containing different species of each one of the categories and expand to Fram animals ! These books are of collectible quality and value and can be handed down to his children some day❣️

This book is a gift for my ocean loving grandkids. The photos are realistic and seem to be moving. Each page seems bigger than life and brings a smile, the water animals seem to be swimming right toward you. I think they’re going to like this book.

Beautiful ocean animals flickering and making cool movements.

I know from other copies I have seen that this is a beautiful and fun book, but mine was from a disreputable seller. Be cautious buying used. Mine was literally garbage. Several pages were cemented together, photos bent/warped beyond usability, etc.Unfortunately, I trusted someone else with the return and they didn't bother, so I wasted my money.
