For the quantity of tape you get for the money this is a good deal but I’ve painted a whole lot-a walls and done a bunch of faux finishing, venetian plaster, and oh the blue tape. Miles of it. On walls, windows, baseboard, and door casing. What can I say, I was a perfectionists. I had ideas and this blue tape helped create some really straight lines. I also used it to mark sheets of tile for cutting with a dry saw and i used this to make my caulk and areas where grout meets a painted wall lines look sharp.So you’re not limited to making good paint lines and if you are using this to create a detailed pattern on a wall than know that the results you see happening on TV is from a distance. Despite your best efforts paint sometimes peels and there will be bleed marks. And if your walls have even the slightest plastering effects it will be even tougher to get things just right.The bottom line is this tape has a-lot to offer but it does have its limits and I do recommend buying one roll of the brand name stuff. You will be surprised to find that two product seemingly so simple could be so different.Cheers
