I found this product online. I poured some in my laundry load, made sure it was diluted and then did a regular wash. It was my last effort to save a comforter that had a set in urine smell. The urine smell was absolutely gone after it was washed and dried. Between pets and children, it is a must have not only for urine but all unpleasant strong odors ( except skunk). I keep it around now as a regular part of my laundry products. I have never noticed a loss of color in any of my items that were washed with this product. I have also diluted some in a water bottle and used it as a spray which also works well. I highly recommend. I have never seen this in stores and was very happy to find it on Amazon.I have a sense of smell like a bloodhound and have tried many products. Most just add another perfume smell over the original bad smell which actually makes me nauseated!

This product unequivocally removes odors. Here Is my experience:I bought this product to remove odors from cushions on the sofa in my office where I drop to eat, sleep, work, watch football and Cool down after a sweaty workout. I didn't want to just refresh the surface temporarily by applying a sweet fragrance; I wanted to actually remove odors. Application of this product is easy, I was done in 10 minutes, but buyer beware:1. It dries into a white powder that is extremely difficult to remove by hand if applied to a large area. Instruction suggests removal by extractor or vacuum. You may want to carefully consider that suggestion prior to application and perhaps not apply if you can only remove by hand (or be prepared for possible consequences)2. I think it contains bleach because the application pattern is still visible after I removed the residue. The only thing that saved my cushion from disaster was the pattern of the fabric. Again, I did not use a vacuum or extractor so if you do your experience may be different.3. I liked the outcome of the odor removal (pun) so well that I applied it to some throw pillows that are as old as the sofa. Again, the odors were completely removed. I was able to completely remove the white residue on a few pillows by hand; hoever, the back of my Thomas Kincaid lighthouse pillow is ruined. Instead of a solid navy its now navy with white striations which is why I believe it contains bleach.Finally, I did my cleaning on a sunny day because I wanted to dry the cushions and pillows naturally to assist in odor removal. I'm not convinced that direct sunlight contributed to the ruin of my Kincaid or staining of the sofa cushions because as I mentioned that did not occur with some of my other throw pillows.I bought it to remove odors, which it did very nicely, thus 3 stars. Just be sure to test a small area of your fabric first, especially if you don't plan to extract with a vacuum or extractor.
