Works very well

This is my 3rd purchase of the eye mask. I'm a germaphobe, so I just replace them every now and then, nothing is actually wrong with them. This mask is great. My eyes are driest in the morning when I wake up and at night. I pop this in the microwave for 30 seconds, and hold it up to my eyes until the temperature is just right before placing on my eyelids. I can feel the oil glands releasing the clogged oil and my eyes becoming moisturized. I do take it off very briefly just to blink my eyelids to help the oil get flowing.

Easy, quick way to sooth dry eyes.

Exactly what I was looking for. This comes in a soft silky pouch. I heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds like the directions say and it lasted a lot longer than a warm washcloth. I have a stye in my lower lid and a washcloth just didn’t seem to last the recommended 10 minutes. When heated, I would use one side for my eye and then switch to the other side of the mask for my eye. I don’t really need the mask for both my eyes and folding it and using one side works really well. I would recommend this and would definitely purchase again if needed. One thing to note is that the elastic band is very loose and stretchy. I don’t think the weight of the mask will allow it to last long wearing it upright. It slides down due to the weight of the beads in the mask. It works best when you lay down or in a reclining position so the weight of the mask (silicon beads) rests on your face/eyes.

My husband has chronic dry eyes and used this brand to replace an older one. He likes this one a lot as it has a band to hold it on, as he often sits upright to apply moist heat. Excellent product. He carefully heats it up in the microwave, then applies it for several minutes. He also stores it properly so as not to become moldy.

I like the IDEA of this. Doctor recommended it for dry eye / MGD. Problem with it is that the mask itself is not heavy enough to really press into your eyeballs. You need something weighted on top of it to really feel the heat good.Easy to heat in the microwave, nice that it's shaped to your eyes but design really needs some tweaking. So I don't use it. Travel mask? Who travels with this sort of thing?...It's not for sleeping.I use (you may want to try) the Bucky neck wrap heated in the microwave which stays warm much much longer and has a nice weight to it to really saturate the area with heat. Not enough beans, not enough weight, not enough coverage and doesn't stay warm long enough.

I had a stye and doctor recommended using a warm compress with my meds. Heats up nice in microwave, lasts the 20 minutes I needed. Actually feels really good, nice weight to it. Reusable and washable. I would recommend.
