I really like this soap. It’s non drying yet you feel squeaky clean. The scent is subtle and the bar though smallish is very firm and has held up well on a drying rack. It’s much cheaper than other persimmon soap bars yet not inexpensive. I have very sensitive skin and it has worked well for me.

Package I ordered had three boxed soaps. I was very pleasantly surprised that each bar/box also contained a mesh bag to use in the shower or bath. Either I missed this when ordering, or it wasn't mentioned -- it's a nice addition. Soap lathers up really nicely and the mesh bag provides gentle exfoliation. (People in general should NOT be doing militant exfoliation, like we were told to do 20 or so years ago, when it was all the rage ... And seniors, in particular, should not be scrubbing their skin -- anywhere -- vigorously). For the price-point, this is a great deal. The soap smells very nice and the mesh bag is great. Can certainly be re-purposed for other soaps, if you want.

This is good stuff. It strips your skin but, gently? The first time I used it I thought, "never again, it really stripped my skin." The next morning I noticed how soft and comfortable my skin was. Second use was easier on the skin, no itchy dryness, softer, no noticeable scent. If you put it in the little bag included for each bar, it acts as a bath poof and lathers really well. Haven't used any other brand but might try several.

I bought this after seeing ads for very expensive “old man odor” soap and decided to try a cheaper persimmon version first. I am very picky about smelling clean, and this honestly surprised me. I have used it for about a year and it completely replaced my Dove and other body washes. The biggest difference was underarm odor. It noticeably reduced it and I stay fresh much longer after showering. It does not just cover smells, it prevents them. It almost works like a natural deodorant. It comes with a loofah pouch and you put the bar inside it to use. The bars last a long time as long as you do not leave them sitting under running water. I even gave one to my father in law, which should tell you how much I trust it. After a full year, I still plan to keep buying it. For me, it works just as well as the expensive persimmon soaps at a fraction of the price. Highly recommend.

I received my first order of this soap today. It has a light, wholesome, and very pleasant scent. I’m highly sensitive to fake fragrances, but this soap is very nice. It lathers up nicely inside the little mesh bag found stashed in each box of soap. I wish I had known about this soap a long time ago.

This soap smells ok, not really pleasant or unpleasant. I think it just covers up odors though. I came with a mesh bag which makes lots of suds but also uses the soap up quickly. I learned to remove the soap from the bag once it made good suds and just scrub myself with the soapy bag. If you keep using the soap in the bag your soap will disappear in no time.

Bought based on the online reviews of all kinds of persimmon soaps, in general. Non-drying, really pleasant citrus scent, rinses off clean and leaves no residue but skin is fresh and soft.
