Review: 340558 custom chrome color
Using laquer thinner, i was able to clean older fan fixtures and spray this quality paint in several fast-drying coats, resulting in a neat looking finish on pretty dated ceiling fan motors and trim pieces. This finish is as close as you’re going to get in a sort of nickel-chrome color that many modern fixtures have. I can’t believe how well it looks and the finish is durable.Word of caution: this stuff stinks to high hell. Leave whatever you’re painting hanging outside for a while…

Not chrome
I shook that can for almost half hour to make sure I was going to get the best results out of it. I did sprayed over primer as I was attempting to fix a few large spots on a set of old chrome wheels I have for my trailer but this color came out a metallic gray/ dull bare metalish color and even tho it's not horrible, its not what is advertised.

Nice color, not exactly cap color, but nice.
covered almost perfectly in one go... I went with four passes to be safe. But, from bare metal/steal silver to a nice blue/teal or grey in no time. The "chrome" isn't really there, as I expected. It's not flat, but it's not a mirror (for the blue) - for the "Chrome" it wasn't there at all... more of a matt grey... not even close to the cap.*The "Chrome" effect might be better achieved with a smoother metal... high-grit sanding. The blue color doesn't quite match the cap in four coats... although I did start to notice it getting closer and closer with more coats. The "chrome" silver color was not even remotely close. Grey vs actual mirror-like chrome. That said, the more "teal(ish)" color the "blue" starts off as, is what I was wanting (not being able to find) anyway, so it's perfect for me.I would say, you might have to use the entire can in order to get the color of the blue cap.*Additionally, the "blue" has a slight color shift to it, from the "teal(ish)" color I wanted - to the cap blue that I was expecting and seemed to become more of as more coats were applied.*Part of this may be due to the higher kelvin in my garage compared to the lower kelvin of the sun.All in all, I'd use them again, but I wouldn't consider the "chrome" / silver, as it's not even close.

This is not the color you're looking for...
If you're looking for a true red chrome color, this isn't it. This is more of a grayish red, burnt orange red, rusty red. If that's what you're looking for, this might work, but if you don't like this, Amazon will NOT let you return it. Go to one of the big auto parts stores. They will have this on the shelf so you can judge the color for yourself.
