This device is an excellent piece of technology - stylish and of high construction quality. It is also very easy to use: one button-click to turn it on, two rapid clicks to turn off. The bezel around the button lights up according to the mode it is in: solid blue when operating normally; flashing blue when the reservoir is about to run dry, and flashing green when charging. I have had to re-charge it only twice in weeks of use (it has a USB C socket and comes with a suitable charging lead), and it takes but an hour or so to re-charge. Note that it turns itself off if the reservoir does run dry when in use, and that it is impossible to turn on if the reservoir needs filling.It is lightweight and, in principle, can be carried around with you in your pocket, although this is little awkward in comparison with carrying, say, a salbutamol-based blue inhaler (but this is no complaint on my part).It is completely silent too when operating, except for the very faintest of hisses coming from the business end of things, which allows one to use it very discreetly if in public. The operating principles are also elegant. If you look down the nozzle (the aforementioned ‘business end’) you will see a flat metal disk about six or seven millimetres in diameter, which is peppered with microscopic holes (invisible to the naked eye). Behind that disk is a crystal of some substance that expands and contracts very rapidly when the unit is operating and this provides a pumping action that propels the nebulant out through the holes in the disk. Those holes break the stream up into an aerosol of tiny droplets (that fall within a specific size range – very important in terms of efficacy), and so a stream of mist exudes from the nozzle (or face mask if you use that attachment instead).It works every bit as well as the mains-electricity-powered nebulisers they use in hospitals, and has constituted a significant uptick for me in managing my breathing problems at home. Generally, I charge up the reservoir with a few doses of a salbutamol nebulant every few days and simply keep the device to hand so that I can use it on an as-needed basis.I am very, very happy with this product. It is elegant, reliable, very efficient, very effective and silent running to boot – the manufacturers have my respect – and it is available here for a very good price considering what you get for your money. If you want a really good nebuliser that leaves nothing to be desired then do yourself a favour and buy one of these units.A final comment: the instructions warn against testing the device with water, and I would advise users of this product to take heed. That is, I assume the warning is given because anything other than distilled water will carry dissolved compounds (the cause of ‘hard’ water) into the little pump. If this water dries it will leave chemical deposits in the holes in the metal disk thus plugging-up the holes and stopping the device from working. It goes without saying that I did not test it with water first, and you should follow suit.

After 2 weeks of chest and nose congestion a friend suggested to buy a nebuliser. It was the best decision I made. After I used it with saline solution, I felt that my health is improving. The size is perfect, the battery life is good also. It is easy to use and I like the quality and functionality. Quite a real value for money, I regret not buying one sooner.
