Does a good job, with proper installation
For $25, you can't go wrong with this system -- it has everything you need for a basic cooling setup. I mounted the lines across my pergola to keep my back deck cool, and while it does get a little wet, it's still better than sweat!THE BIG KEY when installing this system is punching the holes into the line for the mister nozzles. The overall installation is easy, but if you don't punch the holes correctly, you'll get some leakage. Use the designated tool and you should feel a quick pop when you punch in the hole. Then when you install the mister, you'll feel it snap into place. If the line crimps any while you're punching the hole or if your hole ends up being a little jagged, you won't get the proper seal. I learned this the hard way with two holes, but thankfully they add in an extender piece which I used to cut out the bad section of hose, then re-joined it with the good portion of the line remaining. The mist comes out well with just a slight turn of my faucet. Definitely worth having in the hot temperatures here in Florida.

Disappointing
I recently constructed a pergola, and wanted to add misters to combat the hot summer days. There appeared to be two choices- a much more expensive solution based on brass fittings and pipe, and this product based on vinyl tube and plastic misters. You get what you pay for.The biggest problem with these are drips. I have installed them per the instructions, which requires them to be mounted at a slight angle from vertical, and can not stop the drips. It very much ruins the "misting experience" when you are sitting underneath them and get a constant dripping of water. The net result is that there is always a jockeying of chairs as people try to stay away from the drips.I also had a problem with clogging. We use well water, so their are some salts and perhaps fine particulates in our water, but I am forever cleaning out the mister heads- even after flushing out the lines to the misters. On the postitive side, when they are working , they do throw off a nice, fine mist, and it does cool down the area underneath them quite nicely. My dog loves them, and I would think these would be a good match for a dog kennel-since dogs don't seem to mind the drips. One tip- most good hardware stores seem to carry a selection of the 3/8" connecting hardware, so if you forget to order something when you buy these, there is help close by.I plan on removing these next year and replacing them with a brass nozzle and PVC piped system.

Awesome misting system!
We just now got around to installing this misting system and have to say it is the coolest thing to have (no pun intended)! There is ample supply of hose, nozzles and c clamps to do the job and then some. This really puts out the mist, I consider it more than a mist only because it went on my porch swing, up the sides and across the top so it is like taking a shower. I didn't get my arbor built this year around my patio which is where this was originally bought for. But hopefully I can use this if I want my hair wet, but it does work and is very 'cool'!

Some tips for a decent product
If you're not careful the punch tool will go right through the hose out the other side and cause a leak. You will also need better brackets to hold the hose to whatever structure you nail them to. I used cable zip ties that have the screw holes on them. Its a pretty decent product and does the job.

Misting kit
I liked it, a little drippy, but that may have been how I poked the holes in the misting system. Then the dogs ate it, so I don't have it anymore. Will likely purchase again for summer

nice idea but...
it is a gamble to make a hole in the tubing. if not "perfect" you get a dribble along with your mist.we used it on our patio in florida and it does its job but 1/4 or so of the nozzles leak which likely affects the pressure at the remaining nozzles. difficulties are part me and part materials but exist.

worked for me
It was delivered on time, easy to put up, easy to attach sprinkler heads, just wish it came with a few additional heads.

awesome!
We're loving this mister on our patio. it really cools things down fast. One thing...do not twist the knobs too far out. They will pop off when you turn on the water. keep them finger tight. otherwise you'll be going up and down the ladder too much to fix it.

Very Nice!
Great system for watering your plants. You just need a timer on your faucet, if you want it unattended. Otherwise, you can turn your faucet on and off manually. Either way, it does a pretty good job. Have been having it for two summers, and my wife loves it.

Ok but leaks
Bought this misting system to line my deck where my dogs stay when I'm at work to keep them cool in the summer. Does cool area about 15 to 20 degrees with the use of a fan, but the system leaks too much and too much water accumulates in certain areas.

Runs drips and errors.
The heads drip water and make a mess.

Not worth any $$
Drips at least as much as it sprays. Leaks/drips at every connection and spray outlet. The supporting "C's" are cheap and do not hold much of anything. A big waste of money and and installation time.

I love it
