Dr Peter Selg is to be congratulated for his thorough research of Rudolf Steiner's lectures. Many of the lectures quoted in this book are only available in German. One quarter of the book is made up of Notes quoting actual lectures which are a gem in themselves. I have widely read the works of Rudolf Steiner that are available in English and still I found information presented in this book that gave me new understanding.Now to the topic. The information in this book gives such a detailed understanding of what takes place when we die. The information is presented in a detailed and credible way, even if we have difficulty with the idea that we experience anything after we die. This book will help many people to know what to expect after the moment of death.This book gives very practical guidance to come to an understanding that we are soul-spiritual beings who use our physical body while we are on this planet. When we leave this planet we remain a soul-spiritual being. This is like saying that our soul-spiritual being is the driver of the motor vehicle which we trade in from time to time to a more current model.I find myself reading this book again and again and coming to new and deeper understandings of who I am as a human being on this earth.
