Experience AR with XREAL Beam Pro
I recently got to try the XREAL Beam Pro AR glasses, and they blew me away. They run tons of Android apps, so they’re great for both work and fun. The 3D cameras take awesome videos, and the whole experience feels really immersive. Running on Android 14, everything is smooth and works perfectly with all the apps I use. The visuals are steady, making them great for both work tasks and gaming. The controls are super easy to use, and I figured them out quickly. Plus, I can charge them while using them, so I can take my AR fun anywhere. Overall, these glasses are perfect for anyone who loves tech.

Love this soo far...
I own 3 phones. The HTC U11, HTC U20, and the Galaxy A52. BOTH the HTC phones supports Video output over USB-C, and the A52 does not. I own both the Rokid Air glasses and the Xreal/Nreal glasses. The Rokid Air space software works great on my HTC U20 phone (too slow on the U11), and the virtual reality does also. But, for the life of me, the stupid Xreal/Nreal Nebula software does NOT work on the HTC U20 phone at all. First, it can't find the software in the android store, and says it's not compatible, (even though the Rokid Air software is compatible). I did some goole search, and found a work around to get the Nebula software to install on the HTC U20, but it needs an update, and it WON'T update, because the phone isn't compatible. Nreal, get the Nebula to work on HTC U20 (with video over USB-c). Or, purchase this item, Xreal Beam Pro for $200, with the Nebula software built in. So far, I love this. I owned the Nreal glasses for about two years, but couldn't use it because nothing supports it. Not even the PC software. But, finally, I can use my Nreal glasses with the Xreal Bean Pro. I'm giving it 4 stars because of some bugs with the software. 1. When I tried to login to one of my streaming service, I forget which one, the virtual keyboard cam up for the user name/password. But, it sent me a 6 digit code to my email address. When I tried to enter the code into the streaming service, the virtual keyboard did NOT come up. 2. Bluetooth mouse. The bluetooth mouse worked on this device. But, as soon as I connected the Nreal glasses and launched the google chrome web browser, the mouse movement became REVERSED. Left/Right reversed, and Up/Down. Very irritating. When I disconnected the glassess, the mouse worked correctly on the Beam's screen. When I reconnected the AR glasses, the muse was reversed again.

perfect match for the xreal glasses
I love it, its basically a phone i got the 256 no sim card option. it feels like a phone but works good for using the glasses. Only complaint is the mouse mode is hard to use on public transportation to skip stupid Youtube ads and stuff. you think you are hovering over the skip button and next thing you know the bus moves and you clicked else where! But The device is great, feels good. display is bright and clear, camera is great and the android store has some decent games that pair well with or without the glasses

Not ready for Prime Time
Don’t really work that well. You need a lot of patience and figure out work arounds to make basic functions work. Amazon Prime looks awful when I connect to the beam but looks great when using an iPad. This product is not really ready for prime time - I would suggest just getting the glasses and use your own device. After a couple of months it still not ready for prime time. It feels like a prototype that was rushed out the house. The glasses are great but the Beam not so much. Not for anyone without a lot of technical expertise with devices. Went to watch NFL ticket on YouTubeTV and nothing. Beam or iPad showed nothing when I connect the glasses to either device. When it works it’s great but it is so frustrating to use. Wait a few generations for this product.

Ok hardware with unfinished, non working software [Working with XREAL]
UPDATE: After posting this review, XREAL has reached out to me and wants to work with me on resolving some of these issues. I appreciate their proactive support. I will work with them and update this review once we come to a conclusion. I received the XREAL Air 2 Pro glasses a few days ago and the XREAL Beam Pro yesterday. Since this is a review of the Beam Pro specifically, I'll try to keep it focused on this device. Summary: This device has some cool features that you don't get on other devices (mainly the dual cameras and the app to view them in 3D), but the device's core functionality is severely lacking. I'll be returning the Beam Pro. Hardware: I didn't look at any of the specs of the hardware, so this is all just based on my experience using the device. - Overall build quality is good. - The dual USB-C ports on the bottom are very convenient for using the glasses and charging at the same time. - The dedicated button to switch between follow and anchor modes is very useful. - The lack of a fingerprint reader is disappointing and annoying. It's basically a mid range android phone with some extra hardware for the glasses. Software: The software is the main issue at the moment. First, the functionality related to the AR experience is very buggy. I get frequent (multiple times per session) crashes and often have to unplug the glasses and re-plug them in to get things working. This is while using the default apps, too. Second, the customizability of the AR experiences is lacking in options, which leaves me making sacrifices in the way I use the glasses. - Frequent crashes. The AR environment presented to you in the glasses, powered by the Beam Pro, frequently crashes. When this happens, the best case scenario is I reopen the app, the worst case is I have to reboot the whole device. Sometimes, that doesn’t even fix it. Luckily, I have many devices to test with (S21, Pixel, MacBook, Beam Pro). Otherwise, I might be stuck and unable to use the glasses. - Lack of customizability. One use case I was looking forward to experiencing with this setup was having windows open to the side of my view while focusing on something in front of me through the glasses. Imagine sitting in front of your computer typing something while having a YouTube video playing in AR. It's somewhat possible to do this in anchor mode, but my use case is specifically for when I'm on a train or bus. As soon as the vehicle makes a turn, your window slides out of your view. So naturally, I put the device in follow mode. However, in follow mode, as far as I can tell, you can't move windows off to the side. They take up the whole center view, and you can't change that. I realize the above use case could be considered niche, but for me it's common. I could continue nitpicking the software, but the truth is that it just seems unfinished. I actually have a much better experience using my Samsung phone because of Dex (Samsung’s desktop environment). I have found myself trying to use the Beam Pro, then just giving up and switching back to the Samsung. I don’t even use the XREAL app on my Samsung device because it’s also very buggy. Overall, this seems to be a case of OK hardware with unfinished software, which makes it not worth the price. I’ll be returning the Beam Pro, but keeping the glasses.

Very buggy
Seemed pretty cool at first but after a while everything was starting to get glitchy... it doesn't glitch or drift or freeze when i connect it to my phone, tablet, or laptop. The spatial Mouse is erratic sometimes and hard to control. What I DO like about it is the video and pictures it takes, great quality and 3D.

Important accessory to appreciate XR one pro glasses, 3-D effects and control
I will consider this mandatory accessory to fully appreciate the three-dimensional aspects of the Ex real pro one glasses. I would definitely get the version with the larger Internal memory 256 GB . The 3-D camera is interesting. However, the glasses alone will plug into your iPhone and give you a three-dimensional photo representation that is often as good that the firmware in the glasses now can create as a 3-D image from the existing pictures in your iPhone a remarkable product

Works for me
Exceeds my expectations - physically it resembles, and when the Xreal glasses are unplugged, works like a nice rather larger display Android phone. It runs every app I have thrown at it very nicely. Plug the Xreal glasses in and you move into the world of the Nebula OS. Now that takes some getting used to! To control the cursor I expected the phone maybe to act like a trackpad, but it does not! Instead (and it dawned on me because we are dealing in 3d space) it works like an air mouse! Once I figured that out, and then to press and hold the home icon at the bottom of the phones screen when I got lost, I stopped cursing it :) It works great... the ^$%# thing was not defective after all!! I mostly use it to watch videos and for that this combo is great. You can enlarge the virtual screen up to a giant size like you are in the front row at the theater and the quality remains very high, Wow! I have only dabbled with the 3d camera a little but it seems to work very well and is a nice bonus feature! To me this unit is a bargain for what all it does and I am very happy with it so far.
