Thermos158035 Family Cool Bag, Navy, 30 Litre

This is a chunky cool bag, so it doesn't fold as flat as some bags but the are several upsides: It has a moveable semi-rigid inner floor which means it keeps it's shape when loaded & protects the contents. It has a good capacity , whether you a using it for a picnic or for the chilled shopping. The adjustable shoulder strap helps carry the load. It seems to keep things cool for a good time (you should use freezer blocks if you need an extended time). It has velcro (hook & loop) straps to keep it folded when not in use. The main zip seems to be good quality.

Hi all. My son and I were lucky enough to go to Glastonbury festival this year (2023).We both knew it would be sensible to get a cool bag as we intended to take our own beers, due to the cost at festivals.My son bought a bag from the Range for £13 and I bought this one on Amazon for £18. Fyi it arrived on time (even though I left it till the last minute) and we were set to go.To cut a long story short. My cooler bag won! It was better insulated, it got bashed about (we carried it everywhere with us on a little trolley) and we packed it full of ice.Resilience. We absolutely abused the bag, threw ice in it, left it with ice overnight (and there were ice cubes in the morning) bashed it about over the terrain and it held together.There was a bit of spillage, when the trolley went over but that was only at the zip area where you would expect water to come out of, however we put a bin liner inside to add to the waterproofing.To be honest, we only used this bag, and the Range one was only used to carry ice from the Co-op back to the tent.I don't often recommend a product like this. But for the difference in price to the Range one, or even if you can afford to use it for one festival and then dump it, I would recommend it.In fact, if I am lucky to go again, it will definitely be top of my list. 😊

Good value

Hands up here! I was taking a fridge-load of food 260 miles to my daughter. I also added sandwiches and cold drinks for myself. Everything stayed chilled over several hours, and some frozen food was still frozen after 6 hours, without iceblocks. I'm 5'2" but I could lift this bag, laden, very easily. Pockets and strong straps. Using it again next week for an "easy" 220 mile trip to see my son. Laden, of course!

This is excellent for keeping frozen goods cool when you’re doing a supermarket shop and getting them Home into your freezer👍
