This is a good string of small / mini globe fairy lights - they are not the big festoon lights! The string of lights is approximately 10 metres in length, with it's own special plug at the end.The lights are waterproof, but the plug is not so make sure that keep it dry in it's own waterproof plug socket (or trail the wire out of the window).I've stuck these up in the garden for the summer, so I'l report back on how well they lasted with all the rain we have been having.The lights also come with the standard remote control to change the sequence of the lights - just another thing to lose, but one plus with these lights is that you can also set the sequence by pressing the knob on the plug.

This 10-metre stretch of fairy lights is really cute featuring 100 small fairy light topped with clear plastic spheres with multiple air bubbles inside, each have a uniform diameter of about 1.5cm. Can be used for multiple occasions but if you are planning on gifting to teen to decorate their bedroom they do come in a nicely designed boxThe product description states that these can be used indoors or outdoors, I don’t fancy using outdoors doesn’t look safe to me. The light is powered via a power adaptor that is plugged straight into the mains. The light isn’t superbright is subdued a little by the thick clear plastic balls and a nice warm yellow colour. The wire looks fairly decent not fragile looking at all. The power adaptor has a small white button on it, pressing this button cycles through the 8 lighting modes. Also included is a small remote which comes ready supplied with a battery. The remote operates when directed towards the power adaptor. A lighting mode can be selected from the remote from one of the numbers labels 1 – 8. The remote offers other function including timer and a couple of buttons which enable the light to be either dimmed or brightened.Lovely fairy lights. The only issue of concern is I haven’t hung these up yet, I’ve only handled for a short time and in that time 2 of the plastic spheres have fallen off. I was able to locate one of the bulbs the sphere fell off and was easy enough to push back into position. The balls also do add weight.

These are fairly good fairy lights and give a decent amount of light and they are now in use. I am not the sort of chap who just sticks fairy lights up at Christmas, in our house they are up all year, although my wife would be happy to maybe stick with them just over the winter.Although I like these I recently reviewed a very similar (almost identical) set of lights as part of the Vine Programme and they do look slightly better quality in construction and were also a couple of pounds cheaper so I have given these 4 stars for that reason, to be fair though these are certainly OK and will cheer up the corner of our dining room for some time now. They have a remote which is the norm these days and the light sequence can also be set from the plug in supply too which although small needs a couple of inches of space as it points directly outwards

This is a beautiful set of fairy lights - the crackled round bulbs really make them feel special and cute. They work really well with the remote, and there are lots of options! I'd definitely get more of these for other rooms.
