Cheap but Sturdy
I bought this to mow a crappy yard, full of stones, rocks and bumps (mountain location) at a house we put on the market. Didn't want to spend a lot of money for a super nice mower as I knew the amount of abuse in a very short time it would be subjected to and the possibility of someone stealing it.This mower is super cheaply made, it really is. Most of it was assembled, you have to put the handle and the wheels on. If you are not mechanically inclined, probably should just go an buy a fully assembled mower at your local chain retailer.I really am not gentle with this mower. I will jerk it over bumps, drag it across rocky driveways while it spits golf ball sized stones out the discharge chute. When I overload it in high weeds, I'll tilt it back, start it up and bang it down where it died (and continues to die) until the weeds are cut down.I still have this mower, bought it early 2020, and it continues to start up 1st or 2nd pull and use it for very large mowing jobs here (1 - 2 acres) to mow around "obstacles" for my brush hog. In fact, I came here today to find the size of blade it needs and get it on order since the one it came with looks more like a metal bar than a blade with all the rocks, dirt, bits of wood and bumpy ground that has punished it.The folks that say it is dead after 1st or 2nd use must be too gentle with it.The one thing that is really bad about this mower is the wheel adjustment. You must take the wheels off to adjust the height. I set it about mid height and left it there. The debris guard on the back lasted about 2 mowings last year BTW. Got sucked up into the blade when pulling it backwards through high weeds.

Light weight and durability were most important to me when purchasing this product.
I had rented this lawnmower from an equipment rental store four times prior to purchasing it. I liked the lawnmower then which resulted in me purchasing it. I have used this lawnmower once since purchasing it in January 2020 so writing this review, however, may be a little premature.Prior to renting this lawnmower, I had bought a different lawnmower from a different supplier two years ago. However, because of the "lightness" of the body, the holes where the wheels were connected to the body became worn and rusted during the short time frame I owned it and, as a result, all four wheels fell off. Hence, the reason for me purchasing a new lawnmower from a different supplier. As mentioned in the ratings above, I found this lawnmower maneuverable, easy to assemble and light weight. The body appears to be sturdy so hopefully all four wheels will not fall off. The cross bar under the chute where grass is expelled, however, was received bent (possibly during the shipping process) and this prevented me from attaching the starter cord to the handle bar. I had to think the problem through overnight before realizing that the bent cross bar was the problem which I quickly straightened. So for future purchasers, be aware that this may also be a problem for you. Also, future purchasers be aware that you will have to check the lock nuts periodically, as mentioned in the user manual, to ensure that they remain securely fastened.I hope this lawnmower lasts beyond the two years time frame my previous lawnmower lasted.

Light weight basic mower, no thrills
1st off...they tell you, it's a basic mower that needs assembled. Basic being you mount the wheels, grass chute, handle bars parts, and attach the power feed cable to the handle bars. Basic cutting blade and spark plugs are already attached. It comes with a container of oil you will have to add once assembled.Remember the word BASIC...the wheel bolt holes have 3 height options...H-M-L. I chose medium...let the grass grow higher...it's an ok cut...I think I need sharpen blade to hit stragglers. This is not a mulcher...it spits out grass from the chute like most mowers did 25yrs ago....I would not use this on my whole yard...select areas....front, sides of house....as it's very light to manuever around shubs etc. It helps me tackle the front while use the bigger AWD mower in back....

It’s a cheap mower, but certainly worth the price
I’m not gonna tell you this is the best lawnmower ever. But for the price is bloody good! It’s simple, easy to build.... for me, I needed to be able to physically pick it up (I’m a tiny, small woman) and put it in my truck to be able to move locations with it, so the weight was a factor.I’m working it hard, my land is bumpy and sandy, I’m not being kind to it, and so far .... it’s taken what I have thrown at it.I might post when it dies, simply because it IS a cheap lawnmower.... but it’s doing what I expect, and for this price and my need for it to be transported.... I’m happy.

Bad reviews increasing........
When I purchased mid 2020, I don't think there were that many bad reviews or I missed them. I think because of COVID, lawnmowers at ACE and Lowes were in short supply. This is a supplement mower to our riding mower for doing little areas - so a cheap little mower would suit the job...or so I thought. It ran and cut fine through 2020. Here in Florida, season ends late November for mowing. We had a dry Spring, so started mowing later. It started up only after I dumped the old gas and added new. OK...that made sense. Ran for 2 more mows. Now it starts and dies immediately. Tried all trouble-shooting: cleaned carb, checked choke spring, checked gas flow. All seemed good. Plenty of gas in carb bowl. Ordered a new carb anyway. Maybe these cannot run on E10 gas at all. If this new carb doesn't work - I'm getting a Craftsman like we had (which ran for 15 years and always started 2nd pull without ever putting stabilizer in fuel) before we left it with our house we rented out.
