Smart and functional kettle
Smart looking kettle with a good diamond design. There is a viewing side either side, so suitable for right and left handed people.Under the base you can also wind up any unused cable, which is great to keep the lead short and the kettle away from the worktops edge. Functions as it should, and being 3kw swiftly boils the kettle. They even include a manual, and it says in there you can descale a kettle with white vinegar.I never knew this! there is a filter in the spout, which should help to stop any scale reaching your cuppa.Feels well made, and has the now usual flat heating element in the kettle base.Price is fair, for the quality and ease of use.

AddAcsaCi Black Diamond Design with Silver Accents Kettle
✅ Looks good. Better than the photos show.✅ Boils fairly quickly.➗ Flip up lid may not be for everyone. I like it, my partner does not.➗ Steam escapes a little round the sides of the lid.

AddAcsaCi Kettle
The media could not be loaded. I'm a safety conscious person, so the first thing I do when receiving something with a high power rating is check out the electrics. The cable to this kettle is marked 3G1.0mm which means there are 3x1.0mm wires one of which is grounded. Now 1.0mm cable is only rated to 10A and this is supposedly a 2.5-3.0kW kettle so would require 13A, however when I look at my old trusty kettle, purchased from a reputable brand many years ago and also rated at 2.5-3.0kW, I see it uses exactly the same cable - presumably the short-length of cable, together with the short-usage time, means that it IS suitable for this kettle.Next I thought to check the power rating and what better way to do that than to time it boiling water. So I ran a side by side comparison (see video). Each kettle was given 500mL of water to boil and activated at the same time. (See video). Both kettles were turned on at 1:24 and finished at 2:36 (AddAcsaci) and 2:39 (my old kettle). This I think proves the kettle's credentials in speedy boiling!Note - I checked the cable and base of the kettle after boiling and neither had warmed so all good there. The kettle is mostly plastic which surprised me - I don't know how well this will last, but new the textured black finish looks fabulous. There was a little more steam release around the back of the lid in the AddAcscaci kettle than in my old one but not too much.Overall, it ticks the most important boxes imo and it's good value for money at under £20, so gets a thumbs up from me!
