MeindlMen's Respond GTX Low Rise Hiking Shoes

Just purchased my second pair of this walking shoe from Amazon, they were a bit more expensive than retail shop - but they are all closed because of the lockdown!Price apart, these are excellent walking shoes, I wore out the previous pair using them virtually everywhere from daily strolls around the town to hiking in the Scottish Highlands. I never found the need for any other heavier boot, but obviously did not use them in snow. Apart from that, they have good grip, keep your feet dry, and have a nice wide fit if you have wider feet. Very comfortable.

Cannot recommend them highly enough! This is my second pair. Very durable, comfortable and an all purpose trainer for walking and every day use.

High quality product which you would expect for the price. One of the best things about MIENDL pricing is they fit to size. If you are size 11 that’s what you get. So many other brands just don’t deliver on this. Look great and ultra comfortable. The old adage you get what you pay for applies.

As someone who spends a lot of time on their feet as a postman, I was recommended these by a shoe fitter while trying out various shoes. In short, if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that are sturdy, light, waterproof and breathable but also keep your feet warm with the right socks on - then these are the ones for you. Can’t recommend them enough, especially for arch support with its carbon fibre support.

Well constructed shoe - comfortable and very durable. Completely waterproof but breathable.Long rural or simpler paved walks no problem.I take a long time considering shoes before buying - these are excellent on surfaces that do not need a high-rise above ankles.Highly recommended

These shoes have only covered a few hubdred miles and now leak even on wet grass. Absolute garbage.I got these refunded and ordered some more as the originals were the wrong size.Merrells are better than this overpriced rubbish.

My husband has owned a pair of these for about 5 years and after searching the usual trainer retailers to no avail I luckily found that Amazon was selling the exact same design, he finds them a perfect fit for him and very comfortable.

Meindl- ein qualitativ hochwertiger Hersteller?Ich besitze diesen Trekkingschuhe seit 19 Monaten und bin ich täglich rund 5 km damit gelaufen, das sind insgesamt rund 3000 km.Dieser Schuh war von Anfang an nicht wasserdicht!Die Sohle ist durchgelaufen. Das Obermaterial löst sich in Wohlgefallen auf und von innen sieht der Schuh nicht besser aus.Bitte sehen Sie sich die Bilder an, diese sprechen für sich.Allerdings war der Schuh sehr bequem!Einem No-Name billig Hersteller hätte ich für diesen Schuh vier Sterne gegeben, aber damit ich einen Meindl Schuh besser bewerte, muss der Hersteller seine Qualität komplett neu überdenken.
