I’ve used the Sovol SH01 before, but the SH02 is a major upgrade. The new 150W PTC heater really makes a difference — it heats up fast and gets to 50°C in just a few minutes. I usually set it between 50–60°C, and it maintains the temp consistently with even 360° hot air circulation. My filaments print noticeably better after drying in this box.The improved sealing is another win. Even when it’s not powered on, the SH02 keeps my filament protected from moisture. You can also add extra desiccant bags to boost its effectiveness (just note they’re not included).Overall, if you're serious about improving your 3D print quality, this is a smart investment. Definitely recommend over the SH01!

Great filament dryer box! Really nice touch screen interface with a ton of filament options that take only a second to select and you're ready to rock! Holds 2 standard sized filament rolls and the rollers they sit on roll smoothly with no additional friction. 2 filament feed holes that can be capped when not in use plus a vapor release hole at the top. Lid latch locks the lid in place solidly. Overall the SH02 is a very nice filament dryer.The only things that I can say I don't like with this dryer is I'd love for it to be a little quieter. It's not super loud by any means but it is a constant fan/blower sound kind of like a high end PC. Perfectly fine if it's sitting on the floor or on the other side of your room. It can be a little annoying if it's sitting a few feet from you on your desk :DSome suggestions I would have for this unit is.. I'd love for 2 sets of filament feeder holes for each spool, 4 total. The 2 in the front at about 45 degrees up on the lid is perfect but a second set on the back at like 135 degrees would be great if you wanted to maybe run the filament more out the back without having to rotate the entire dryer around backwards (and thus making screen access difficult). Another thing I'd love to see would be a 4 filament roll version of this exact style dryer... so, pretty much, just wider with room for 4 rolls, and some additional maybe larger but quieter fans. Just an idea! :)

The media could not be loaded. The Sovol SH02 filament dryer has really impressed me. Right out of the box, it feels well-made and thoughtfully designed. It heats up quickly and includes preset profiles for different filament types, which makes drying materials like PLA, PETG, or Nylon super convenient. One of the details I really appreciate is the gasket between the lid and the body—it seals the chamber properly. This is a big improvement over the Creality dryer, which is more expensive and yet just has plastic-on-plastic contact, no gasket at all.The LCD display is responsive, but it’s also very sensitive. You need to be careful not to press too hard or you’ll distort the screen, similar to pressing too hard on an old monitor. Despite that, it works well and gets the job done.I live in Florida, where humidity is always high, and I’ve actually seen this dryer bring the internal humidity down to single-digit percentages, which is impressive. That said, as the filament dries, it releases moisture into the chamber, and the built-in vent on top just isn’t big enough to handle that. I’ve found that cracking the lid briefly vents the humid air very effectively—you can see the humidity level drop almost instantly. After a few cycles of doing this, the chamber stabilizes with low humidity even with the lid fully closed. It’s like opening a bathroom door after a hot shower—once you let the steam out, the environment inside resets.Overall, I think Sovol nailed it with this dryer. With a bit of manual venting, it delivers performance that rivals or beats more expensive options. It’s a solid buy, especially if you deal with high humidity.

was surprised how easy this filament was to use. Right out of the box I didn’t have to dry it, just loaded it in and started printing. I tried both Sovol’s PETG profile and a generic PETG one, and both worked without needing to change anything. Prints came out clean with only a little bit of stringing.The color is the best part. It has a really nice transparent green gradient with a glossy look that makes prints stand out. Adhesion has been solid, and overall the quality feels great. Definitely a filament I’d buy again.
