I was very impressed with this box. Right after opening, the smell of the baseball glove from my childhood hit me right in the face. Real leather and it smells and feels like it. The leather is thick, sturdy, looks distressed and vintage, and is very well made. It's sold as a pencil box and it is. BUT, this box could be used for everything from a stash box to a travel kit. The zippers worked freely on the outside and the inside pocket, and there is a little cover flap right on the inside with holders for pencils. Well packaged with very nice looking badging an even included a little pamphlet of their other products, of which there are MANY and we will be getting more. LOVE IT! A perfect gift for literally anyone, even kids.

Your college or work-bound graduate will appreciate this genuine leather BERLINER BAGS pen and pencil case. It's roomy without being oversized, able to contain just enough "stuff" for a day commute to the office or campus. Sophisticated but unpretentious, this is a firmer leather item that seems crafted to last.

The leather quality is pretty good and the size is pretty helpful, you can put a lots of things inside.

I suspect the tanned leather version of this bag is quite attractive. However the dark version has a rough, muddy, very uneven tone to it. This is made worse by using the bright, orangey brown zipper intended to match the tanned leather version, but used on the dark brown case, creating an unpleasant contrast; if the leather is dark and dull, the zipper should be, too.My case arrived quite crushed and would not hold its shape. I have formed a large amount of packing material to fit tightly inside it, and zipped it closed, in hopes it will regain its intended shape over time.The detailing and craftsmanship on this case are excellent; but the pleasure such a case is intended to provide is lost to the crumpled shape, muddy finish, and glaringly mismatched zipper.

The design seemed great in the pictures, but in reality the pen loops are so tiny that nothing but the skinniest pen or pencil could fit in them. Also, the workmanship was total garbage. You can see in the pictures that the binding is burnt all the way through, there are skipped stitches and thread tangled in the zipper. It feels much cheaper than some $10 pen cases made in China, and these are marketed as "slow fashion". What BS. Returning immediately, I'm so disappointed.

The pen loops are a little tight and she arrived *thirsty*, but once she got a good oil, she looked a lot better! I can hold just enough in the bag, but can't use each pen loop unless I find smaller pens lol.

The walnut cookies version of this pencil holder looks like a designer's error. The coloring is unattractively inconsistent throughout all the surfaces. The zipper matches the lighter color on offer, but looks like a glaring error on this darker version.It gets a couple of stars for its size and utility, but buy the other color!

Ich mag die Qualität von den berliner bags und war auch nicht das erste Produkt dieses Herstellers.Die Federtasche nutze ich als organizer für meinen Rucksack. Dafür finde ich sie sehr praktisch.

Lo uso in ufficio. Non passa inosservato. Pelle morbida e bella esteticamente, anche il colore. Soddisfatto ancora oggi dopo mesi dall'acquisto.
