This ULANZI LM18 Mini LED Light is a fantastic, compact addition to a vlogging and action camera setup! The magnetic mounting design makes it super quick and easy to attach or adjust, providing a bright, convenient fill light wherever it is needed. It is wonderfully lightweight, works seamlessly with action cameras and cages, and adds just the right amount of illumination to lift shadows and make video content pop. A handy, portable tool for creators on the move!

For the size, this light is actually pretty impressive. It’s compact, bright, and really convenient to use. I like that it has a few different lighting modes depending on what you’re shooting, and the battery life has been excellent in my experience. That said, this isn’t really a knock on the product itself, but I don’t find myself reaching for it as often as I thought I would. I already carry other portable lights, so this ends up being more of a situational tool for me. I’d really recommend this for people who don’t want to carry extra lighting gear and just want the convenience of being able to snap a light directly onto their DJI action cam or Osmo Pocket 3. The product itself is great, well made, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

I’m really impressed with it. The light is bright, compact, and very easy to use. It’s perfect for recording videos, taking photos.

Works amazing with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3, I use it with the ULANZI PK-06 Expansion Adapter which I also purchased from amazon. I use two of the Ulanzi LM18 Mini LED Lights, one on each side. I use the Osmo Pocket 3 for extra shots that are not possible with my 4k video camera and 4k mirrorless camera on video jobs, mainly for shots from the top, like mimicking a drone shot inside the venue. Easier than using my heavy DJI Gimbal. The mini lights allow me to shoot using less ISO(ASA), so my videos come clear, sharp and np grain or noise. I have 4 lights, 2 as spare, but never exhausted the battery yet on the first set, I make sure that I don't keep them on all the time if I am not using them plus, they have a few power settings. I do recommend them!

I quite like this little beacon of awesomeness. The ULANZI LM18 is small yet it delivers, bright enough to make faces stand out in dim rooms and firm enough to maintain presence without slipping into mediocrity. The USB C charging is modern and convenient. The quick release mount clips onto my rig with ease, making setup feel less like engineering and more like ritual. At full power it shines like a miniature stage spotlight, and at gentler settings it lingers for hours as a patient companion. When pushed to the maximum the battery will remind you of its limits, but that is to be expected. The IPX5 water resistance inspires confidence outdoors, and the 120 lux output at half a meter is respectable for such a small lamp. One complaint remains. It does not include a lighting adapter for certain camera systems, which feels like a slight given the otherwise thoughtful design. For the price such an addition would have been proper. Still, this light feels like a loyal squire, not perfect but always present when darkness falls. Four stars, nearly five, for a compact companion that brightens the work and spares me the burden of bulkier rigs.

I like the mini LED light. It has three mode of light less brightness to bright. It just attached onto the action six but I don’t like how it’s underneath the camera so I get the cage so the LED light would be on the side instead of the bottom because I like to record and stand my action 6, but in my opinion if you like to record content I would get the cage and the LED light so it’s not on top of each other rather than beside each other

Clips onto the camera and holds well. There are multiple levels of brightness and does produce a good amount of light. Glows red when charging and green when fully charged. I definitely recommend this light if you're going to be using it in poor lit areas.

Great little light! Very small, lightweight, and great build quality. Just make sure your camera has the appropriate accessory slots to accommodate. Like other users have mentioned, my biggest complaint is the long button press to turn the light on and off, but it’s a minor gripe. Use mine with the DJI Osmo pocket 3 and it’s great to have on hand! If you don’t need different color lights or to adjust temperature, this is a great option.

Do 5 stelle perché per il costo non si può certo pretendere di più, diciamo che se ti devi riprendere e c'è poca luce in qualche modo ti salva, e non parlo solo delle riprese fatte di sera al buio ma funziona anche quando di giorno sei in una zona d'ombra e hai la fonte maggiore di luce alle spalle, migliora sensibilmente il volto, ovviamente devi essere vicino perché non è un faro. Diciamo che da quando l'ho presa ogni volta che esco per fare qualche video la porto sempre con me, è piccola da stare in tasca, pesa niente e quando meno te l'aspetti scopri che ti serve.

So hab mir das Ulanzi LM18 Licht in Dezember 2025 für meine Osmo Action 4 gekauft. Hinblickend kann ich sagen, das es in dieser Zeit wirklich kein Grund für mich gab zu meckern. Die Magnet Halterung sitzt bombenfest an der Action Cam auch in schnellen Aktionen. Der Akku hält gefühlt ewig. „Hab gefühlt 4x geladen seid dem Kauf.“ Und ja was soll ich sagen es macht ein wirklich schönes Licht. Bitte kein Flutlicht erwarten aber hat eine schöne Ausleuchtung. Was für mich wichtig war, das ich keinen harten Übergang hab am Lichtkegel. Alles schön soft. Kann die Ulanzi LM18 wirklich jedem empfehlen der ein Gutes und Günstiges Licht benötigt.

J’ai testé la ULANZI LM18 sur ma caméra d’action, et elle m’a vraiment apporté un plus en conditions de faible luminosité. Le format mini est super pratique : léger, facile à fixer, et la fixation magnétique tient bien – aucune crainte qu’elle ne bouge pendant le tournage. La batterie intégrée de 500 mAh offre une autonomie confortable (jusqu’à 8 heures), et pouvoir la recharger via USB-C tout en l’utilisant, c’est hyper utile en déplacement. De plus, elle est étanche (IPX5), ce qui m’a permis de filmer sous la pluie en toute tranquillité. Seul petit bémol : le niveau de luminosité reste basique (trois réglages seulement avec les 12 LED intégrées), suffisant pour un vlogging amateur mais peut-être un peu limité pour des usages professionnels exigeants. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un excellent petit accessoire pour améliorer rapidement l’éclairage de tes vidéos, compact, fiable et pratique.

Le flash externe éclaire bien, mais il ne reste jamais chargé, c’est dommage.
