Worth the money. A new motor cost more
Fits 9c direct drive hub motor barely. 9c motors are used on most 1000 -1500 watt kits. I found it you bend the tabs with the bolt holes slightly away from each other so when you bolt them it pulls it tighter it's a perfect fit. I also slightly sanded the tabs where they press together to give it just a little more clearance to pull together when tightening bolts. I also added washers to the bolt side and nut side to have more surface area pulling the tabs together. The parts are made very well and the curve of the heat sink matches the hub motor perfectly witch allows you to use a minimal amount of thermal grease to be an efficient and effective thermal conductor. This hub sink combined with statorade is a no brainer if you want to protect your motor, keep it cool, and get better range and efficiency. Heat is wasted energy. It's a proven fact.

Necessary Upgrade for High-Power Hub Motors
Hubsinks (and Statorade) have saved me from having to buy a heavy and expensive QS275. Don't get me wrong, that is a great motor, but off-road, you'd be left with either buying $2000+ worth of suspension, or sticking to the road. That much rear wheel weight causes slippage from bouncing off bumps and dips. The QS205 on the other hand, has performed amazingly. The 5T model with 145a (w/ 450 Phase amps) has been a monster at the local dirt track, easily getting me up to 45mph+ on straight sections. I have this in an Electric Enduro-Style Bike (Heavy Steel, easier to weld repair), and it makes this almost 200lb bike feel like my first aluminum full-susp eBike I built (sub 140lb bike).I had one set of hubsinks on that I've used for years now between builds, but saw that it might benefit me to utilize two sets so I bought another to help with the cooling surface area. Time to go rip at max for longer ;-)

It works/ it fits
I have to give this product three stars due to the thermal grease. There wasn't enough I had to buy more product does fit perfectly but you have to tighten down every single bolt. There are no tools to tighten them down I don't know the specs I just use what I had on hand

Great for keeping your hub motor cool
These hubsinks are amazing. I installed these on my custom QS205 stealth bomber, and they were super easy to install. I also injected statorade into the hub motor, to maximize cooling since I’m pushing over 10KW of continuous power. After doing some testing on steep hill climbs, the motor was still cool to the touch. The hubsinks definitely did its job!

fit great
came with plenty of thermal paste. fits my generic 3k watt fat bike fine. if they were cheaper i woulda bought 2 and staggered them for more cooling but i did buy the statorade to help the heat transfer out of the motor

A bit disappointing

Interesting idea that can be used for other hubs too
I've used this on my Sturmey-Archer drum brake hub used on a tandem. I had to bend a couple of the heatsinks to fit the drum brake, but it was worth it, I used a thermal cement rather than the thermal compound that came with these heatsinks. I still have enough of these heatsinks to put them on my ebike.
