On Call GK Dual Ketone Pack | 1 x GK Dual Meter and 1 x Ketone Test Strips (25 Pieces) in a Practical Set | for Accurate Measurement of Blood-beta-Ketone

Used monitor to measure ketones. Came with batteries and worked out-the-box. Used included control solution on first strip to check and read 2.8, then tested myself after 2 weeks on keto diet and got 1.9, then tested my partner who isn't doing keto and got 0.3. This indicates the monitor actually works properly. Strips are a bit pricey, but not the most expensive either. Only issue is the interface is simplistic but also annoying to navigate (changing date and time etc), but other than that it's just a simple plug-and-play ketone monitor - just insert the chip from whatever batch of test strips you're using and it's ready to go. Also nice feature to skip through saved test results to monitor ketone level changes over periods of time. Would recommend.

This is a great product and helps keep a check on ketones for low carb or ketogenic dieters. It is very easy to use but important to read the I instructions thoroughly as it is different to other monitors I have seen. The blood sample is put at the opposite end the strip to the monitor. It is a much easier and cleaner process once you realise this. The results are visible within seconds.

Only problem is that the monitor does not come with both testing strips

Bit annoying that there is seemingly no way to request any assistance.No matter what I do, I end up with a E11 result when taking a blood sample in 'testing' mode. Even if I use the control solution, in blood testing mode (not the control mode) I still get E11.However, if I put the device in control mode, I can test the control solution AND blood and get a reading. But only in control test mode.Tried different strips at another 25quid a pop, different batteries branded vs unbranded. No joy. Seems mine only registers any kind of result, in the control test mode.EDIT: Unit was faulty. Ordered another, just the unit on its own, registered on first attempt in 'Test' (not Control) mode.

I needed a machine to measure my glucose and ketone levels and this machine does both. Easy to use and compact. My only suggestion would be that the zipper pouch was a bit bigger in order to hold both containers of the strips.

My dad uses this to track his blood sugar and says it's very accurate and easy to use

This One Call GK device is better than EBketone, because it covers both glucose and ketones, has business address in USA and not in Taiwan as the other one, and its test strips are cheaper. The design and fabrication quality is good.

On the paper seems like a good product... too bad it’s impossible to get a reading: keep on getting an E-4 error even if the strips is not contaminated and the blood drop is big/good enough. Considering the strips cost around 1£ each... quite a disappointment! I gave up after using 5 strips today... not sure if i have a bad batch of strips, but a reply from the seller would be greatly appreciated.
