Five Stars
Good fit and strong adhesive. Highly recommended. Been 2 months and still stuck solid. Make sure you thoroughly clean the area's where you re apply the tape. Champ !

No issues
As long as the mating surfaces are properly cleaned before using these strips, they work great. I actually warm them up before applying the glass to the frame too. As they cool they bond better (works on iPad screens too).

Perfect fit and good adhesiveness.
Instructions and labeling really helped make a good seal as I only had to apply it once.

Not sure about these...
I ordered these strips but I'm not going to use them. The adhesive quality of these is pretty important, if they fail it could be over £400 to replace the display so it not worth taking the risk. The original strips that have to be cut to dismount the display are relatively thick and spongy, whereas these strips are really not much more than double sided tape. Rather than risk it, I ordered another set from IFixit, which cost about double the price when you include postage costs. However, though there's a similarity the thickness is very different, the adhesive much darker and they go on a dream. Its REALLY IMPORTANT to remove every trace of the previous adhesive, including the sticky residue and also to get the alignment of the display exactly right, but this done and the finished job is just like the original.

Haven't fallen off yet
Used to repair a 21.5" iMac with a failing hard drive. Arrived quickly and were well packed. The adhesive appears every bit as strong as the Apple OEM. I was a little sceptical having seen the reviews and used similar strips of varying quality over the years, but these worked perfectly and, assuming you install them properly, the screen is not going anywhere. Assuming there isn't a bad batch of these floating around (unlikely), those who have had the screen fall off are either positioning the strips incorrectly, failing to remove the entirety of the adhesive covering, not cleaning the residue from the old strips appropriately or not pushing the screen hard enough around the edges once it's in position.

Did require some trimming
As anyone with a iMac will know, upgrading the Ram and SSD is a scary and nerve-wracking process. Not least because you have to remove the screen. This adhesive tape kit had everything I needed to put it back together though, and the adhesion looks very good which is the critical thing. That said, a couple of the pieces were slightly too long, so I needed to trim them a bit. Not sure if that's a variance between the different iMac models (mine is a mid-2017), but not a big issue. Just thought I should mention it though. Two weeks later, the screen is still attached, and the iMac is zipping along nicely with it's new SSD and RAM upgrade.

BEWARE - THIS KIT WILL DISABLE THE MICROPHONE ON 2017 IMACS !
This kit is described on Amazon as being suitable for iMacs 2012-2017. It is not! It suitable for iMacs 2012-2015.Apple changed the location of the microphone in 2017. Using the kit will cover the microphone in the 2017 iMac.I only discovered this after reassembling my iMac following an upgrade of memory and storage upgrade and then discovering the microphone failure. A little research uncovered the issue.Furthermore, as this kit consists of double sided tape without the foam filling in the middle that Apple use, the screen cannot now be removed to address the problem. The removal tool I purchased for removing the screen relies on that foam filling being there.I am furious as I use my iMac for Zoom business meetings and now it is useless for that purpose!

Lasted 2 weeks until the screen fell off
The strips where easy to apply with clear instructions. Reading some reviews first i was weary with the strength of the adhesive but I took extra care when removing the previous adhesive and sticking the screen on so that it was secure. Tonight two weeks later I've just narrowly missed my screen crashing into my ipad below which would have been two disasters if I hadn't been there to grab it. Being able to have a look at the strips again now there is barely any stick left, i feel I would have been better using normal double sided tape. Could have been a bad batch but I would personally not risk it again.
