I bought this toy for my grandson, like most boys of his age he loves all the superhero films, so I knew this would appeal.My first thoughts when I opened the pack was it is a reasonably sturdy unit, but maybe a little dangerous, so lets get an adult try it first; my partner was more than happy to give it a go., firing it in my direction, which made me jump! Oh it does need to be charged before use, I should say.The launcher is strapped to the inside of the wrist, Velcro fastening; the unit is loaded with one of two projectiles at the upper end; making sure the fingers are not in the way,. Then press the launcher buttons,, and a long white cable shoots out; which has a sucker top and magnet, depending where it lands, it should stick. This I must admit doesn't really float my boat, but I'm not a 9 year old boy. The projectiles can be reused, and have been many times, keeping him amused for hours; now it's been shot at a target.If you are looking for something a little different for a gift, then this appears to be a great toy for younger boys, good value, well built.

Very disappointing, bought this for my grandson’s birthday it lasted less than an hour then the web would not retract and product would not recharge

The media could not be loaded. This is oodles of fun to keep the kids entertained. Just stacking up a block of bricks (or pile of teddies if they’re feeling mean) and shooting them with this web slinger had them in peels of laughter! My nephew and niece are too young to use it themselves but they enjoyed the show :) It’s ready for use immediately out of the box (after you attach the rubber sucker) without any messing about and it safely retracts back for ease of play! You just need someone to build the blocks back up after you demolish them :)

Bit pricey for what it is but kept the brother in law entertained over the festive period

Excellent fun. Bought one for my kid, now I want one.

It worked great for a week then stopped winding back in. Tried charging it but nothing worked. Not sure if it was the rechargeable batteries or the motor that stopped working. Either way I sent it back.

Fun thing, who doesn't want to shoot webs. This is the perfect device to complete the overall look when off to comic con.
