Working great for our office
We needed a solution for the back office door so multiple staff members did not have to bring keys with them. We did not want our patients/customers coming into the back area, so this provided a great solution. Locked immediately after door was closed. Worked perfect. All staff were fingerprinted. Very easy to update/add/remove fingerprint scans. It may take a couple tries for the door to unlock with fingerprint (some of it is user error), but there are 3 other options to unlock.I did not install myself, so I cannot speak to the install process. But it took little to no time for my guy to change things out.The look is sleek and modern, which matches our other door handles. We are buying another door handle for a separate door in the office. Very happy with it and works well for what we need. It has been installed for about a month now.

Pretty good
This door knob aesthetically is very nice. The app on the other hand is a little difficult to navigate and understand. Once I got my fingerprint programmed in it does work well. I don’t like the fact that the code has to be 6-8 digits. That seems a little excessive. I have been having a little trouble adding other users as well. I would also like if this had a manual lock on the inside but it doesn’t, but that may be how all electronic door knobs are. Idk. All in all I think once I get the app figured out and it is set up properly it will work fine.

Words great to lock out unwanteds
Okay...so 3 days before we left to take my youngest to college, he tells me that he needs a knob with a lock for his bedroom door in the frathouse. I say whatever because we are in so deep right now one more thing won't matter. He wanted an electronic one. Now, I know my kid will either: forget his code or not replace the batteries. Sooooo....I found this beauty. It has an electronic code, fingerprint and....wait for it....a KEY!!! There are 3 ways he can get in after a night out with his friends. It was easy for his dad to put on his door and it locked us all out because there weren't batteries in it and my son left the key in the bedroom. That's a story for another day............

I wanted to unlock the door using the Bluetooth but it sounded like it was unlocking but it didn’t so I did manually and I didn’t think much about it then I close the door and wanted to see if I could use my finger but the screen wasn’t turning on it and I was confused no way the thing died I just got it and don’t use it

A fantastic lock that matches style with a great app and lots of management options
I’ve installed several styles of smart locks over the years in our house, and this type- with the thumbprint scanner, is the least hassle and preferred over code entry styles for frequent use. This particular lock is really fantastic on several counts: style, installation ease, and the app.First, style. This lock blends in well with contemporary hardware and doesn’t scream “code lock here!” In fact, you wouldn’t even know it was one unless you touched it. The metal plates and proportions of the handle all look and feel high quality. It’s important to note that all photos in the listing show the door handle in the “on” state after you’ve touched the panel. In its normal standby state, none of the numerals or icons are visible except for a subtle card icon showing where you tap your card key.Installation was a breeze, and it was mostly a simple swap out of my dumb doorknob and worked with old strike plate. I did need to chisel out a little more space for the latch plate, but it was simple to do. Instructions were straightforward and they even sunk a hole behind the battery unit to help get to a screw that would be difficult to reach otherwise (you’ll see when you install it).The best part: the App. Works with the Tuya/Smart Life app, which you might already own if you have smart bulbs or outlets from an off brand. The app has really matured and offers so much flexibility in how you can use the lock. You can easily setup different users, create temporary codes, etc- but that’s just table stakes. You can get as intricate as you like with the programming and block users at certain times of day, create links with other devices, to say, turn off lights when you leave the room, you can lock and unlock remotely, you can view access logs, you can even get notifications on your device when the lock is opened and if someone is tampering with it.They have made sure nobody will ever need to call a locksmith. Besides the fingerprint access, you can also use the code keypad, the included cards, physical key, or Bluetooth unlock in the app. All are provided.

Easy install and use
Being able to unlock a door with a thumb print is so much nicer than having to use a key. However, it does have keys you can use if you needed to. It does take batteries and you can connect a power bank in case of emergencies. It also has a keypad, although that is hard to use. You can use an app to connect via bluetooth and even on WIFI if you wanted to open the door that way and it comes with IC cards as well. Honestly the easiest to use is the thumb print as you don't have to worry about having anything in your hands to open it. It does take a second to wake it up after letting it sit overnight and not be used, but that's okay. I did try the app once to unlock it, but I couldn't get it to connect easily. The doorknob itself is heavy duty and comfortable to use.
