It took me a long time to find a medical alert wrist band as wide as this one in silicone. Many only have space for three lines of information, some are engraved but not clearly legible in loThe metal mesh medical alert wristbands can unravel and prick you, the fabric ones absorb perspiration and start to smell and need to be washed regularly and the leather ones are not washable.w light conditions.This version has four lines of text and the lettering is inked? painted? in black but may scratch off over time.I would like a wider strap like watches have and durable/legible writing - it must be possible in the Space Age!So durability uncertain.It needs a keen eye and a small pin to adjust the strap length - a jeweller might do it if you can't.Arrives in a small black cloth drawstring bag - useful for ends and odds.I would buy again.

Usually I have a medical bracelet with a watch type catch. Sooner or later the band securing the strap breaks and I have to replace. This bracelet has a different catch, and seems to be hard wearing. The text is clear even with the four rows I had added. At first I found the strap a bit uncomfortable because it seemed a bit stiff. It quickly softened and I no longer even remember I’m wearing it. I can definitely recommend it.

The inner length, or circumference, of this bracelet is 19 cm. This is not mentioned anywhere on the product page. The length given is 23 cm. No - it’s 19 cm. The seller refused a refund. They said that as my wrist circumference was 22 cm and the bracelet length was 23 cm, the item was not suitable for me. I haven’t mistyped that quote. Make of that what you will, but be aware that if your wrist circumference exceeds 19 cm, the bracelet will be tight.
