Batana oil contains fatty acids (lauric, myristic, palmitic, oleic, and linoleic acids) and Vitamin A and Vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols). It has a wonderful, light fragrance that dissipates quickly.I think Batana Oil may be the solution I've been looking for to moisturize and soothe my irritated scalp. The Florida heat and humidity is challenging. Working outside most of the day, I sweat a lot. We are also on well water. Despite the use of shower filters, the water is still alkaline and full of minerals. Between all the sweating and hard water, my skin and scalp have suffered. I have body lotions for my skin which help considerably. I've tried various oils like coconut oil to soothe and moisturize my scalp. Although they help, they are hard to wash out. The Batana Oil is great. It absorbs well and it soothes and stops the itchiness. And it's easily shampooed out. I'm new to Batana Oil and unsure about the best way to incorporate it into my daily routine. For now, at the end of the day, I massage the Batana Oil into my scalp, leave it on overnight, and shampoo it out in the morning. After just a couple of days, I'm already experiencing the benefits. I highly recommend this all natural way to moisturize your scalp.

I have used this a few weeks now, and I haven't noticed any new hair growth. The smell was fine when I opened it, not strong at all, but I wasn't expecting it to be as thick as it was, since it said it was an oil. Not a bad thing, just wasn't expected. I followed the directions and it rinsed out just fine, unlike some other things I have used. I will continue using for another month or so to see if it has any positive effect, and if I don't see any, I'll probably discontinue using it.

I have been using the Batana Butters for quite a while, now. I use the oil formula for my hair. This butter has been a Godsend to my dry menopausal skin. I realize its' primary intended purpose is for your hair - but after one application I smeared the leftover on top of my old knees. I noticed a difference straight away so I smeared a scoop all over my legs. Instant hydration that lasts!I apply it after every bath or shower and off and on during the day, at will. This is the only one that I have found that doesn't smell strongly of coffee. Some are worse than others. Not so sure this stuff is what it says it is the smell and color is off. I have not seen hair growth. Been using for a few weeks. Thinking about sending back and buy a different brand.

I have purchased a ton of this Batana Oil. I am sure that I dont need as much as I have stockpiled, but I do know that I dont want to be without it...at this rate, I surely wont! I hope it has a nice, long shelf life. This particular purchase has 3 tubs of this wonderful Batana oil so yes, a long shelf life is necessary.I have found that this Batana oil does what it says it will do. I like my hair so much better now than I use to. My thin patches are filling in and my hair is soft and manageable. I always put it on my hair prior to washing. I then put on a plastic cap and let it sit for about an hour each time I use it. After washing and conditioning my hair, it does feel softer and stronger.The smell took a little time for me to get use to. My first time trying this I vowed to never use it again because I hated the smell so much. For some reason, I gave it a few more tries...actually, I gave a few more tries because my sister convinced me to keep using. She has been using it longer than me and she has had phenomenal results.I can now attest to how good of a product this is. I am a fan of this product for life!
