Kids love it - great present.

The price its good for this, entry level but very good quality/price. The lenses gives you pretty good augmentation.

It works as expected for the price - the build quality is not bad, it's plastic so breakable. The slides it comes with are also plastic (not glass), so child friendly. It magnifies fairly well, however it's cheap optics so you get what you pay for. You have to be looking into the lens just the right way to get an good image. I'd recommend for kids 5-10

Got this as a christmas gift for my son. We really weren't expecting much, considering it was only $25. But let me tell you this thing is great. It actually works very well. He has looked at multiple things and it shows it so clear. We haven't used the phone option yet, but I'm sure it will be great.

I personally could not get the telescope to focus on anything.

The kids loved looking at insects and plants with this and I put my old phone to use as well. Awesome product.
