Would buy again
Clay pebbles are good for inside and outside plants. They add nice color pop on top of soil and they are great for bottom of planter for watering purposes.

Helps regulate water and keeps fungus gnats away
Love these clay beads! They are porous and hold and release water better than smooth river rock pebbles, but don‘t look as annoying as those brown terracotta clay pebbles we know from hotel lobbies Dusty gray when dry, and close to black when watered or misted

Black coating
Black leca: paint or coating chips and shows thru clay color. Floats even after 48hr prep. As the coating seems to affect absorption I'm resigned to using for reservoir only, not substrate. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Color Functionality: Somewhat
