Material thinner than expected.
It is large and the colours are vibrant.However the material is not a material that you use to dry yourself.It just feels too thin.I think it would be more suitable for you to lay on, as a cover for a sunbed.

Use for the shower for now
Use this for after a quick shower. It works well for me - I've already got a microfibre towel so this is handy to have as another one. It dries me well enough and then off to get dressed. My Wife hasn't tried it though, so I'm not sure if it'll absorb enough for her hair. But it is a beach towel...so I think for a beach it'll be great. Very lightweight and easily packed up using minimal space.
