Great response from customer service
I bought a YM03 MP3 Player and couldn't get it to connect with either a desktop or laptop to transfer music files. I contacted Yoton by email and got a very prompt and courteous response. The representative asked me to check a few things and we finally decided that the device did not have a functioning USB port. Yoton shipped me a replacement (that worked perfectly) without requiring me to return the defective MP3. This is a nice player with several functions that I don't use but are available should I need/want access to them. Plenty of memory and easy to use. I use mine with a Bluetooth connection to a small speaker in my shop. Sound quality is very good. I recommend this device if what you want is a small, portable player with great features, low price, and more than great customer service.

A good MP3 player but not perfect
This is a very good MP3 player similar to other clip-style players, but it rises slightly above them because of memory size and it is easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of glitches. I have only used it to play MP3 files and have not tried the other functions. The good:• Large memory 64 GB• Fast processor• Excellent sound quality• Excellent battery life• Logically designed buttons and menus, easy to navigate• Separate power button• Low priceThe bad:• Playlists don't work. They worked the first time I tried them, but haven't worked since.• The OK button is recessed, which makes it hard for my finger to find and press. It often takes several attempts. It should be elevated (like SanDisk players), not recessed.• Displays the file name instead of the song title.• No firmware update on the Yoton web site.

Great inexpensive music solution for non-internet needs
Great low-tech way to allow music access to my kids without needing to give them internet access or full use of a music streaming service. My daughter takes this on car trips and when she is out an about. Perfect for our needs. Works well and the battery lasts a long time. The earbuds aren't the best, but good enough or easily swappable to something else.

Great for MP3 Audiobooks
I have a pretty nice collection of unabridged audiobooks, of which most are MP3s. I've also owned a number of MP3 players over the years, but then they got too expensive and tried to do too much. This one does not and works quite well for this purpose. It works much better if only one title is loaded, to avoid confusion, and smaller SD cards are cheap and these books are very small. I only use two, and switch them back and forth, and they always hold their place in the book you are listening to, and are easy to control when driving or working or whatever you're doing...

Pretty decent player for the price. UPDATED
For the price, I'd maybe say 5 stars, but I didn't want to give it 5 to affect overall ratings, because it really isn't a 5 star product. I discovered that you CAN add playlists, just by dragging them over and then updating them in notepad or VS Code to modify the paths to the songs. I actually added my entire library to it, which took a while, about GB of music. I wouldn't recommend that, it seems to be too much for the player to handle. It is working, but it's slow. I don't love how it takes 3 clicks to advance a song. This only happens if you've played a song for a while and after the screen goes dark. I've tested the bluetooth, but not extensively. It seems to work ok.UPDATE: 8/20/2025Had it at 4 stars, but moved it to 1 star. I was able to add playlists (sort of) using MusicBee software, but the playlists were all screwed up. It didn't properly add the songs. It skipped some. So then I went to select all songs by a certain artist, and it had even jumbled those! It mixed in songs from other artists. I thought maybe it could be the software, but MusicBee works fine with my old Sony Walkman.

Doesn't support m4a files or m3u playlist files like it claims
Two major downsides:1: It said it would support m4a files but it doesn't, which is about half of my music. I need to convert them to mp3 files manually for them to work. It also doesn't read my imported playlists in which are in m3u format, also claimed to be supported. I've tried xspf and m3u8 format for playlists as well as moving the files around to be in the same place, no dice. Very disappointed about this.2: I have 2000+ songs on this thing and since there is no search function, it takes forever to hold the down arrow and scroll to the song I want. This wouldn't be such an issue if it just accepted imported playlists and I could find songs by navigating to the playlist. Making all my playlists on the device directly would take an absurd amount of time with how long it takes to navigate to each song.Besides these two major issues it's a good player, perfect size, good battery, very straightforward. If you have no need for playlists and just plan to shuffle your whole library anyway it's perfect.

MUST HAVE TO TRAVEL
I just came from a weekend trip to Canada and this was such a godsend for that hour and a half flight. It was small enough that having it sit in my pocket was not bothersome and really easy to use. I will say for the price it feels sturdier than expected. I have not used the bluetooth yet so I am not sure how well it runs but the wired earbuds was good. I have in a 126 gb and it ran very smoothly. Also the radio isn't bad, I haven't heard the radio in years lol. Overall a must buy for the cheap price.

Good durability and sound quality. User interface is a bit weird, though...
I've only had it for a week or so, but so far it's pretty good! The price was reasonable, and it feels a lot more durable than my last player,(which was literally falling apart, and yet still managed to work properly) and has WAY more space. The sound quality is awesome! I didn't even need to use the custom equalizer like I had to with me last player! It's battery life is great too, it still surprisingly hasn't died yet, even though I haven't charged it at all. My only issues with it are the mp3 file names being displayed instead of song names, and that it takes three clicks of the pause button to get it to pause, which is mildly annoying, but not that big of an issue.
