I started out skeptical, but have changed my mind about this little toy and am mildly impressed.At first glance, it seems lightweight, flimsy, and comes across as cheap. It scrapes at the wall and is held in place by a literal rubber band. And while I expected brightly colored plastic (specifically the lime, blue, and navy pictured) the cartoon animal stickers decorating both sides were an unwelcome surprise.That said, the fact that it has almost no weight to it means the ball doesn't do any damage if it hits you. Also, the whole contraption is light enough that even if it slides around, the doorframe alone does a fine job of keeping it up.Finally, as they say, the proof is in the pudding--my kids actually do play with this. Several times a day one of them will challenge the other or play by themselves. That's not the case for many toys, and I like that it came with spares in case something breaks. So far, nothing has broken despite them not pulling any punches.So overall, I think I would recommend this if there's a deal on it. At the moment I consider it overpriced (it puts me in mind of a certain store with "Tree" in the name) but it does seem to be proving its durability, and it's fun to swat around whenever you pass through the doorway.
