Absolutely delicious!
Safe Catch now has a new customer! I didn't know quite what to expect when I opened my first can of Safe Catch pink salmon, but I immediately noticed a complete absence of any fishy odor. I had been buying a different brand which was quite tasty at first but lately has developed an unpleasant taste and smell. I mixed the salmon with my favorite add-ins and was blown away by the flavor. It definitely rivals another top brand that has gotten way too pricey for my wallet. Pull opening is a plus, and the packaging was sturdy and secure. No dented cans! I would give it ten stars if I could!

Yummy Salmon In Can
Good tasting salmon from a reliable and environmental safe source. Also comes with other type of fishes, but salmon is always great to eat alone, salad garnishment, sandwich or cook with pasta. Choose water instead oil storage for extra zesty and fresh flavoring.

Definitely worth what it costs.
This may cost a bit more than conventional, but it is well worth the price. There are only 60 mg of sodium in the entire can and no carbs. One brand name conventional variety has 260 mg of sodium in 3 ounces...and there are 5 servings in the can!! This tastes and smells every bit as good as conventional and works well in recipes or salads.

If I liked fish, this would probably be it, but she loves it and that’s what’s important
I actually got this for my dog because she’s prone to pancreatitis and food she can tolerate is pretty limited. With recession looming, it beats another well-known store brand whose price has already gone up three dollars. I like that they test their fish for mercury and their standards are more stringent than the governments’s. I also like that they don’t pack it in water but rather cook it in its own juices and judging by her reaction, it’s delicious. The cans are BPA-free, another thing that I like because I’ve never liked having everything packed in plastic. It’s impossible to get away from it but I’m happy to do this for her. I like to see her enjoy her food and have no signs of discomfort afterward. UPDATE: It looks like SC gives you bits and pieces, not an actual slab of fish and makes weight by adding a lot of juice. I had to give her Wild Planet recently and it was a much nicer piece of fish.

Safe Catch is a good company
Safe Catch is a good, reliable company that uses excellent catching practices. The salmon is packed in BPA free cans in its own juices. The company recommends eating the salmon along with the juices to get the full health benefits. The reason I'm giving this canned salmon only 3 stars is because I find the salmon a bit mushy and there is an off flavor to the salmon...like a slight bitterness. It's not the worse canned salmon out there, but personally I do not enjoy the texture of this salmon and the unpleasant after taste to this brand. All that said, I do recommend this salmon as it's sustainably sourced, packed in it's own juices and some may not find the texture or flavor off putting like I do.
