Very interesting book

My late father knew the author professionally and personally, and I have kept up with the author’s many speeches, writings, and interviews over his career. This particular book is a memoir and written with candidness and sometimes a tongue-in-cheek manner at the most unexpected moments, which adds a slice of humour at the most unexpected moments in an otherwise pretty serious career in the business of international diplomacy. A must-read for all who know him and know of him. Also a must-read for anyone who wants insights into what Singapore was like in its early days of nation-building.
