Pleasantly surprised! These are definitely a awesome entry level athletic jump rope. I bought the 2 pack so myself and my preteen could use these. These are very easy to cut and adjust the length on. 10/10 would recommend.

I've purchased 3 jump ropes in the last year and this one by far is my favorite one! The rope is heavy enough but not too heavy, The handles are comfortable to hold and I actually use it almost daily! Getting one for my son to work out with me.

We bought 2 of these for our kiddos boxing class. They were easily shortened and we are excited to way them progress!

This jump rope is definitely worth it. Not only is it effective, but it probably one of the most budget friendly out there.The average rope seems to go between $9 - $25...with some going up to $50!Seriously $50 for a jump rope?! I guess if you like the fancy gizmos, like counters and some nonsense material, then have at it, but this is simple and effective ancient technology...really, how much can you improve on the basic design to make it more effective? More gadgets will not equal more calories burned...you still have to do the main part, workout.A jump rope should be simple, comfortable and durable enough. This meets all those criteria.Durable: A steel cable in the middle (virtually will last forever).Simple: Two handles and a flexible chord.Comfortable: The steel cable is encased by plastic tubing and the handles are padded with foam.That being said, the design and color are pretty sleek! The rope is adjustable by means of unscrewing the bottom of the handles and adjusting the stoppers to the desired length. The weight is adequate, so no need to have a "weighted" rope.For about $5 bucks, you can't go wrong...but if you want fancy names, gizmos or some other useless features, then be my guest and spend more money. Even a piece of simple rope from Home Depot is probably more expensive than this jump rope...I for one, highly recommend this.
