What size is the hexagon side? (From one vertex to the adjacent vertex)

This is a regular hexagon with a side of 7,75mm. This is the same length than the ones of the pentagon, square and triangle sides. This is interesting because you can ''join'' per example, the side of a hexagon cycle to the side of a pentagon one. This feature is very useful to illustrate some steroids like estrogen, testosterone or cortisone, which all have that type of joined cycle bond. The heptagon and octogon have smaller sides.

Will a Pilot G2 pen with a bold (1.0mm) tip work with this stencil? Specifically, will the pen fit in that acyclic alkane portion of the stencil?

Thank you for your interest for the Stencil of Organic Chemistry. The grooves of this template are pretty close to 0.70 mm. Anything larger than that size is not appropriate. Our customers found that a mechanical pen of 0.7 mm in diameter works very well. Leo DuchesneKenemak
